I never once felt awkward here - in fact, the regulars were super welcoming (it felt a bit like a bourbon twist on Cheers). This place is quaint and fun with a speakeasy ambiance and a selection of spirits that will make any Bourbon lover drool

What a cool place. Excellent selection of Bourbon, Rye, whisky , Scotch. Small place but fun conversation with the folks here. Larry and Tom man the bar and their prices are excellent. Blantons is $12 for a pour.

Excellent little bar. Stopped by and thought it was closed when I first walked in. The owner (Larry) was at the bar. Great guy and very knowledgeable about bourbon. Met a few of the regulars as they came in. Friendly group. Will come back the next time I am in the area.

This is a hidden gem. Larry is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy. Pours are a solid 2oz. and prices are excellent. You won't regret it.

@Eating.Drinking:Union 42 has just celebrated their 1st birthday, and it is an out of this world bourbon bar based in Union, Kentucky. There is an incredible selection of bourbons and other drinks on their vast menu. **I had the pleasure of enjoying an @elijahcraig 18, followed by a superbly made Old Fashioned. There is a host of games to be played too with a darts board, pinball machine, and others to make the atmosphere that bit more causal.*The intimate setting of this bar is perfect for conversation while the drinks flow. With it being a local bar for many, you are almost certain to have conversation with other people you didn't know before you entered the bar!*Be sure to check this place out.
