Unataza Coffee

Nice little coffee shop in Dayton, KY. Discovered them at the Cincy Coffee Festival, and had been wanting to come over and try them. Went for the Two Leches Latte - very good! Shop is nice - they also have breakfast/lunch food options. Highly recommend, for the coffee alone. Service was quick, and the coffee is great!

Quaint coffee shop with a wonderful breakfast menu as well. It's not a spot for large groups, but perfect for small groups and families. Their empanadas are amazing, but the breakfast tacos are a must for me at each visit! And you can't go wrong with any of their coffees. A big plus - they have Cholula, which I always add to my breakfast tacos. My son's favorite is their avocado toast. Service is always pleasant and it has a very relaxed feel. Much better vibe than some other chaotic/ busy coffee shops.

This has become a favorite of mine because of their outstanding coffee and breakfast tacos. Bright, airy and cheerful you can't beat this place for ambience. Service was outstanding. This was my wife's first time here. She is not a coffee drinker but enjoyed the tea and chocolate croissant very much. Do note that there is a free parking lot across the street.

My wife and I stopped in a couple weeks ago. She got some coffee, that she thought was not bad. Unfortunately, I had a different experience.I ordered a hot chai latte with soy milk. It was extremely bland, basically no chai flavor--sweet, spicy, or otherwise. It didn't even have much soy milk flavor; it tasted very watered down. We mentioned to the barista that it wasn't very strong, and they offered to add some more chai concentrate to my drink, and even gave me an extra couple ounces of the concentrate to add as desired.I tasted it again, and it wasn't any better. I decided to sip the extra concentrate by itself, and even it was bland. Either they don't have a very good quality chai concentrate or it's simply not being prepared properly, but either way it was some of the worst tea I've had in the city, and when paying $5-6 for a cup, it was not a great experience.

I really, really liked this place. I was in town for work and happened to find Unataza on Yelp. A good friend of mine had left them a glowing review so I was sold rather quickly. I arrived around 9am and I was cheerfully greeted by the super friendly staff. I got settled in and when my coworker arrived, we went straight to the counter to grab some coffee and breakfast. They have a rather nice menu consisting of breakfast and lunch items like soup, salad, breakfast tacos, pastries, and more. After looking things over I settled on a lavender latte and their avocado toast, which was a recommendation from the barista. It didn't take long for my order to be up and they brought it straight to my table. I love that when I'm at a coffee shop. These days you wait for your name to be yelled out... not here. My latte was great but the avocado toast was the star of the show. Sourdough bread, avocado, cilantro, queso fresco, and a creamy jalapeno sauce. Not only was the portion huge, but it was down right delicious. I would order it over and over again. Great call by the staff. The space itself is vibrant with a ton of natural light and fun art. There is plenty of seating as well as outlets if you need to juice up a device. If you're looking to visit a new coffee shop in town, or you happen to be passing through like I was, Unataza will do you good.

Cozy ambiance, excellent service and amazing coffee!!! We got the Golden Latte, which was full of flavor and very tasty, and also the Cortadito, with a very nice and smooth texture combined with a strong coffee flavor as we in Latin America like it. We are from Puerto Rico and being an Island in where the production of coffee has been part of the main businesses, both for domestic consumption as for exportation, for more than a century, we are particularly demanding with the quality of coffee that we drink. So, Unataza is 100% approved as a place in where you can find quality coffee in the Cincy area. We did not have the chance of trying their food menu, but many of the options they have look very good; so next time we visit Unataza we will adventure with their food menu and will let you know.Wishing all the best and many blessings to the owner of Unataza and their staff!!

A really nice coffee shop with a significant food menu as well. The service was great and very friendly. The coffee was alright, but pretty overpriced. I want to come back and try their breakfast plates, because they looked great based off the menu!

Got a cold brew and pistachio chocolate croissant and both were great! Service was quick and friendly. Coffee shop had a welcoming atmosphere and is great for families. Need to come back and get lunch next time. Awesome spot!

Everything about this place is simply fantastic. The food, the drinks, the service, the employees, the dining area etc etc.I've stopped by a handful of times for drinks and Charnee's Doughnuts but today was the first time I took the time to hang around and try some of the food. I had the breakfast tacos while my wife had the avocado toast but we ended up sharing everything. It was all so tasty that we can't wait to try more.If you're ever in the NKY area and need coffee or breakfast then you really need to try this place!
