So let me start with I went golfing for first time in 26 years so needless to say I was a little nervous but it turned out to be a beautiful day and I remembered how to golf. The staff is so nice and generous and the course is beautiful even being a little messy from the rain. I will continue to golf at Twin Oaks.

Extremely friendly rangers and staff. The course it self is mostly flat and is easier to play than some of the other courses in the area.

We have had our Christmas Party there for the last 6 or 7 years. They had the place decorated beautifully for Christmas. The food is excellent and the staff is wonderful. We have several elderly people attend and the staff helps them get through the buffet line. They have a huge parking lot. This is a wonderful place to have a party or event.Carolyn

I am a local wedding photographer, so I am at more venues than most. I did my first reception at Twin Oaks on 5/15/2010 - and I was plesantly surprised! First off, the food is excellent. I was lucky enough to try some - in fact, the fabulous staff there offered to pack some up for me to take home (which has NEVER happened before). And speaking of the staff - super friendly, professional, etc. They did a great job with everything. The layout worked very well for a reception, too - with the buffet out of the main room but close by. There was some self-serve drinks (water, soda, beer), so you weren't waiting in line at the bar all the time. It just all worked really well. We were able to get some great photos, too - by the pond and fountain, on the greens, in front with the main entrance, etc. In summary - I would definitely recommend Twin Oaks to couples looking for a reception venue. It has a lot to offer, and they do a fabulous job!

A beautiful and accommodating place to hold a reception, I recently attended the festivities here for my friends' wedding. Starting out, this place was more difficult to find than Area 51. Armed with both printed directions and my GPS, I can't count the number of times I had to back track to find this place. At the property entrance, there was no sign; something essential for a facility that sits back from the road. Fortunately, getting here was my only complaint.Upon arrival, I was greeted by a stunning country club surrounded by the rolling greens of the golf course. The staff was attentive and welcoming. One of the first people I met was the chef, who told me the perfect spot to take photos of the bride and groom. He also has a tradition where the groom serves the bride dinner and pulls out her chair for her at the table. It's an elegant presentation; a special gesture for my friends' big day. Throughout the evening, staff was on top of bringing out hot food, refilling the hors d'ouvres, and bussing plates. There was a server who came around to each table to collect cards and presents to set aside in the couple's gift room.I really enjoyed open access to the soda fountain and beer taps. Wine and liquor were also served at the bar, but being able to pour your own eliminated waiting for a drink. Wine pours were generous, getting a glass filled up to the brim no matter what kind of wine was ordered. The food was delicious, particularly the appetizers: BBQ meatballs, salami and cream cheese rolls, pizza margherita, soft pretzels, crab dip, gourmet meats, cheeses, and fruits. For mains, we had a buffet. This was neatly set up in the adjoining veranda, which prevented guests from bottle-necking out into the dining room. Tables were released by theme song, and servers notified each table if they guests missed their cue. Dinner consisted of a salad bar, salmon, prime rib, and BBQ pork. The mashed potatoes, green beans, and rigatoni pasta were incredible. The country club room comfortably held our mid-sized party, both for dinner seating, mingling, and dancing. While it may be hard to find, Twin Oaks is definitely worth the experience once you arrive.

I have been playing this course since I was a little kid going down with my father to walk 9 holes in the evening. We have had numerous events there over the years and have always to others to go play down there because they keep the course in good shape, staff is friendly and everything is well run. For the past 6 or 7 years, when my work schedule permits, I try to play with a group of seniors that have had 2 standing am tee times for the past 7 years. This group can have 8 on many occasions but also sometimes only have 5 or 6 show up. It has never been an issue to them and ownership never has had an issue made known to the group until yesterday when a group of 2 jumped ahead of the three groups to cut this group off in the middle of the round. This backed up play severely. The long term customers called into the pro shop to send out the ranger and at the end of all of this, this group became the bad guys. I am absolutely dumbfounded as to how the course handled this situation. Rough estimate from this group over the past 7 years is well over $100,000 paid to Twin Oaks for play, food, beverage etc and that doesn't even factor in all the referrals made to go play there and yet they were treated horribly. I find it hard to believe that any of us will ever go back now.Such a shame. If loyal customers are treated this way, beware for yourselves.

Went to Twin Oaks for the first time ever on September 30th for a wedding. Wow is all I can say! It was an incredible experience. The wedding was held outside by the lake. The reception inside. As the bride and groom were taking pictures, they served heavy hors d'oeuvres, and drinks. The starters were incredible. Then they served a buffet of salad, vegetables, chicken piccata, Prime Rib & salmon. I have to say this is the first reception I have been to where all the food was hot & delicious!!! It had good flavor! Highly recommend this place for a wedding etc!!!

The clubhouse and staff were very good. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the course. grass in many fairways was very thin. The greens had been aerated and top-dressed, which was not revealed when I made the tee time. Many holes on the back nine had fairways that looked like they had been roto-tilled from aeration, but no water was being applied. Un-tilled areas were like concrete so balls were flying everywhere.Won't be returning until I hear they have improved greatly.Arkay W

This course is a regular favorite for my golf friends. The course is in excellent condition and the club house is very nice. However, they now have a tee time system that is deceptive "at best". I guess for the course to save money their website switches the user over to GolfNow. Well, surprise you are now going to be charged $4.98 to book a time. This is unheard of for this type of course in the Cincinnati area. When I complained at check-in the front desk just couldn't understand why you would be charged. Sent several messages to the course with now reply. With all the quality choices around Cincinnati, best to pass on this course.
