Tucker's Whippy Dip

This is a great place to get some ice cream, especially if you have kids. Tucker's has so many different variations of ice cream: sundaes, shakes, sodas, swirlies, chillers, slushies, glaciers, shave ice, floats and more. The menu is large an a little overwhelming. But if you're looking for "the thing" that Tucker's is famous for, order an animal cone, which is a soft serve cone with a candy face on it. We didn't see animals cones on the menu until after we ordered, but I looked at pictures online, and they look adorable. What we did order was a cupcake milkshake (super sweet), a chocolate sundae (great), a cappuccino ice cream (it was fine) and a Dole Whip (which turned out to be pineapple-flavored soft serve, and not the vanilla ice cream with pineapple juice concoction that I'm used to). Everything we got was tasty and fun for the most part, but what makes Tucker's really cool is the outdoor seating. There are lots of tables and benches in the purple-and-green outdoor patio. It's a fun space to hang out in and get something sweet to eat on a hot day.

I've cream is good , service is fine. There is a nice ambiance when they have their string lights up.

Great fun ice cream and dole whip! They also have interesting combinations like the glaciers- ice cream or dole whip and slushes. The cones can also be personalized into animals and have faces- so fun and GOOD

Tucker's is Mason's best ice cream place. It has most of the usual selection. They have soft serve ice cream, hot food, and slushies. It's right in the main area of downtown. They are still cash only. It gets to be one of the busiest places in the warmer months. It's in the area to the north of the library. There's a small parking lot but there's plenty of street parking. Additionally it has a drive thru if you're in a hurry. They can get backed up so it's not always a timesaver. I had a blue raspberry slushie to help me cool off. This is about $2 for the medium size. It has limited flavors but what they have is good. All you need to bring is cash. They haven't gotten with modern times.

Food:I've tried a few things on the menu, and have been really impressed. Great quality soft serve, and the portions are generous without being glutenous at reasonable prices.Service:Drive through lines can be a little slow, but there's one window to pay and receive your icecream. It's to be expected, and you are always greeted with a smile.Credit card adds a 50 cent surcharge to your total. Otherwise, bring cash.Facilities:There are some outdoor tables that are currently removed due to COVID. There is a drive through and a walk up window. Parking lot/drive through is a little rough, with some pot holes, but it's functional.

We love the ice cream and other frozen treats at Tucker's Whippy Dip. Ice cream is fresh, creamy and sweet just like you'd expect. There is parking next to the building and service is generally quick. They have benches and tables in front so you can sit and enjoy your treat while watching traffic drive up and down main street. You always know it's summer in Mason when the Whippy Dip opens!

Awesome summer hang out spot with your family or friends. Ice cream is all flames . Can get super busy but to be expected given how good and popular it is. I'd recommend walking up instead of drive thru but do what you gotta do !

Your typical neighborhood ice cream shop, but better. Why you ask? Their prices are very reasonable and the toppings are fresh. They have a weekly flavor that changes as well as the standard chocolate and vanilla soft serve. There is a drive through as well as a walk up window. It is important to note that they take cash only, no credit cards!

Please update your hours. Drove 20 minutes only to find that you were not open. Not good@

I love old school ice cream places. This was a great stop after the Western Southern Open Tennis Tournament. I've been working through all the ice cream places in Cincinnati and this is well worth the trip. Get the jimmies!
