This is a small park tucked away in a suburban area. Years ago I tried the par cours trail which was a fun change of pace for exercise. This past visit we were just walking around checking out the scenery. The path is gravel, and when you get a little bit into the path there is a rather steep hill, so it isn't ideal for strollers. We enjoyed being near the pond and watching the ducks. The playground is most suitable for elementary aged children.

Nice park, fishing on one side and two well maintained ball diamonds on the other side. Nice inventory in the snack shack and I seen several people drinking draft beer in a plastic cups, I guess they sell beer also. Seen the Park Police patrolling parking lot, so there is security present.

This review is only for the lake and hiking trail. The lake has many mature trees around it. The shade provided makes for a lovely picnic spot. Even on a hot day the lake was enjoyable. Several people were also fishing. We did not observe anyone catching anything. The trail is a short, unpaved hike. It is a Parcours trail. Parcours could use some tlc. If you are interested in using the equipment, and it is to be a hot day, I suggest hiking in the morning. We were there mid day, and the metal on several of the stations was too hot for use. Some courses may be done by children and adults. Unfortunately, this one is not. Some of the equipment was too high for children. There is also an area with a flight of steps. Anyone who has mobility issues would have difficulty.

Triple Creek is where we ended up today after escaping from a very busy Sharon Woods. This is a nice, quaint, somewhat hidden park near Mt. Healthy. This is not a park where you should to expect a lot of amenities. No paddle boats, frisbee golf, or camping. It's small and simple. There is a small lake, a par course trail, a great playground, and multiple baseball fields. It is extremely easy to get to from I-275. It is also extremely quiet. That's the part that I love.Technically, a Hamilton County park car permit is required, but there doesn't seem to be a regular attendant checking for them. A word of caution, though. I imagine that, when softball and baseball leagues are up and going in the summer, the level chaos could be quite different around here. Otherwise, it is insanely peaceful!

I've been playing softball at this place for over 10 years. The people there are, for the most part, great. The umpires are alright. (There are 2 good ones, and one floating umpire that usually sucks) the fields tend to be in pretty great shape. The person who runs the softball league is a pretty nice guy. I would recommend playing here if you're looking for a place to play softball.
