I've been playing at the Plex since I was 8 years old. No matter who manages the facility, I always have a great experience and easy time getting teams started. For as old as it is, the fields are kept in great condition and the overall cleanliness is great. Refs are fair, which is always a concern for some. As far as pricing for teams go, I have a hard time finding a lower price for the amount of games we get to play. There's a large variety of leagues available, co-ed being my favorite. I always recommend this facility to anyone looking for a great place to play. Keep it up guys!!!

I found folks here very responsive and easy to work with. I set up a league but unfortunately didn't recruit enough people so we never played here. But this will definitely be our first choice next time. Folks at GameOn in North College Hill never returned calls or emails.

I've been playing soccer at the Tri-County SportsPlex (err, SoccerPlex) since I was playing club soccer as a kid; when it still had basketball courts (where there now lies a second, smaller field instead). As an adult, I play in both co-ed and women's leagues.Concessions are great and even sell beer. For players, there is accessible water both at the concession stand as well as on either bench. For what it is, the Plex is a great place to play indoor soccer. The turf is in good shape and the field is pretty large. My only gripe, however, is that in the summer there is not much ventilation and it gets extremely hot inside. Otherwise, this is where I play in most of my leagues and don't have any complaints.

Fun, safe kid friendly environment. I play in the men's league on Tuesdays, and they do a great job of organizing the league so that you only play teams of similar competition levels

Great soccer arena for kids and adults. Playing on Friday nights there are usually people hanging out drinking a few cold ones and I have never had any issues. A lot of folks with Mexican decent hang out there on Friday nights which can seem intimidating , but they are good people. The only downfall would be the restrooms, but they have been slowly improving.

We only play here because we have friends that play here. The facility (especially the bathrooms) have been disgusting the entire time I've played here. There is no A/C and sometimes no heat. We've managed to let that slide but the unprofessional way in which the Plex is ran has pushed it too far. For the Co-Ed Sunday leagues, a new session was supposed to start yesterday and with the holidays there were no Sunday games for the last 2 weeks. And with all that extra time, we still had no schedule the Friday before the session started. We called and were told that "HOPEFULLY" the schedule would be sent out that night. We were given about 36 hours notice of when we were supposed to play. And with such late notice, some teams had to cancel their games. And of course my team's game was canceled, which I WAS NOT told about until we walked in the door to play. The other team canceled the DAY BEFORE. All I received from the staff was an "oops we forgot". I know I personally wasted about $8 in gas and 2 hours of my time for that trip, let alone the chance to make other plans for the day. And I'm sure I'll now be bombarded for the full payment of the session when we still have zero games scheduled for the season. There seems to be no standard processes in place for handling anything and zero quality control. It seems to be about time to relocate.

I'm not super familiar with soccer complexes. For one, I grew up in SoCal, so the need for an indoor soccer field was non-existent. Secondly, I don't do team sports. But I enrolled my little guy in a Lil' Thumpers class here that meets once a week. The place is literally around the corner from me, so it's super convenient. I love the class, but this place is gross. Like I'm afraid to touch things gross. I mean "I need some anti-bacterial gel on my hands right now" kind of nasty. I haven't even tried the bathrooms...too afraid. My biggest complaint though is that the air conditioning clearly doesn't work in the building. We're there for an AM class and by the end of it, all the parents are sweating and hot. Mind you, we have all just played a bunch of 18 month olds. This isn't the cardio-workout you'd think it was given our huffing and puffing. I would think one of the perks of playing indoors in the summer is cooler temps, but a broken air conditioner kind of defeats the purpose. We recently went to W2W Soccer in Mason. The facility was better kept and had clearly functioning air conditioning.

I figure I should edit this review to make it a little more politically correct. I've been playing at the Plex since I was 7 years old. I grew up there, I met a lot of my friends through there, and I have friends that work there. that said, recently the place has gone downhill. They're not major problems, and they could be fixed very easily. The turf on the main field needs to be replaced, badly. The hispanic people there, for the most part, are good people, but there are certain teams that make it not fun to play at the Plex anymore. When the referees are losing control of the game, and they won't do anything about the fouls and illegal plays, it becomes unsafe to play. I know the place has a hard time fielding teams, so they definitely cater towards the repeat teams. Those teams though, take advantage of the situation. One prime example, without naming a team name, is one team on the Friday Night Men's Open League. The quality of play from them is competitive, but the hacking and fouling are rediculous, paired up with them literally having 15 subs, and I'm not stretching the truth all, is the reason that I know a whole lot of people, just like me who grew up playing there, that refuse to play there anymore. They need to enforce maximum roster sizes. On our last game there, the game got so out of control that while the ref was arguing with the other teams bench, their players on the field were literally attacking players on our team, with no consequences at all from the ref, management, or anyone. Soccer is known as the beautiful game, and it just seems like the core values of the sport are lost completely by 75% of the teams they allow to play there, and it can definitely ruin people's will to play at their location. We were going to continue playing there, but I had too many players that literally refused to step back on the fields unless something was done with the quality of officials and some common sense rules were actually enforced by management. This said, the management are good people, but they need to remember the reason people play soccer; to have fun, to compete, and to enjoy the sport most of us have played since childhoood. I would have no problem returning to play there if they would step up to the plate and regulate a little better, and this view is shared by quite a few people that I've talked to. Until then, there are a lot more quality places to play the game at in the Cincinnati area, which is very disappointing because the Plex is the oldest and most known indoor soccer arena in the area, I just hope it's not too late for the reputation to be saved.
