Tom's Market

I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and small town feel of this grocery store. Everyone knows your name and your order if you're a regular. The world is losing its familiarity. It's refreshing to see a business still care about its patrons.

I kind of love Tom's Market. They have a smattering of just about everything, and the deli case is always beautiful. You can find fun Ohio products, some organic, and other specialty items, along with some staples (pet supplies, bath and cleaning). The staff are friendly. They also open at 7AM - which I learned after forgetting my deodorant and door busting at Tom's to get a replacement. Even at 7 AM, the staff were friendly and the store was ready to go!

i really only went in because i saw that they sold olipop and we didn't bring any on our trip to YS. reminded me of an amish country store.

I try supporting the local businesses as much as possible. Tom's Market is the main grocery store for Yellow Springs. It has all the common stuff you need plus some things to reflect the attitudes of its town. It has a good bulk items section and there's organic and vegetarian items. The prices aren't the best but this isn't a chain and it's local. I usually pick up some grains or seeds from the bulk bins. It has granola and and other selections like pumpkin and sesame seeds. The bulk items are about $5 to $7 a pound. In the rest of the store there's much of the regular things you'll find in any good grocery chain. There's a lot of things which cost some more but must aren't expensive. I also like the deli section. They have some vegetarian salads in the case. It also makes paninis to order. They have one made with hummus. It has a pretty big produce section with lots of organic fruits and vegetables. They have lots of local products from nearby farms so that earns plusses. I will stop here most times around. The bulk items and produce are good for an independent store like this. You can see the history of the store on pictures on the walls.

Everything about this little market in the heart of the Village of Yellow Springs, Ohio, is refreshing and welcoming! I grew up near hear and moved to the East Coast in the 90s. We're back in the area visiting family, and I'm noticing places and things that have either stayed the same over the years or that have improved under new ownership. Tom and Team have definitely made improvements under his ownership. Thanks for making coming home more memorable.

Great market in the heart of downtown Yellow Springs. Friendly staff, lovely produce, well-stocked deli and a perfect place to grab ingredients for dinner or a even grab a quick meal. Happy, friendly place to shop

Everyone here was so nice!!!! We camp at John Bryan and our next trip we're just going to wait and do our shopping when we get to town. We were told the hummus was AMAZING, but sadly we'll have to wait until next time. They were out when we got there this trip. Their cheese selection is AMAZING!!!! The deli selection was legit as well. Will be going back for sure

Excellent selections on certain items. The meat selection is very decently priced. They make homemade salads too. The pasta salad and chicken salad are divine!

Tom's market ...... Oh how I love you !!!! The beautiful old skool market vibe! The ultra nice people working there. The deli ...... What can I say about that deli .... GET THEM TO THE GREEK!!!! I think this Panina is heaven on bread!!! I have never eaten a sandwich that has given me more joy in my life !!! It's like biting into oxygen .. No KIDDING!!! Thank you Tom's market for filling my belly with savory hot deliciousness !!!! I hike in yellow springs just to eat at this deli without feeling guilty !!

Absolutely! Small local grocery that works hard to provide great fresh food. Bulk bins for nuts, granola and grains. Freshest meat selection - even lamb. Small seafood section. Nice organic veggies. Deli area too. What more can you ask or expect in a small local grocery. Deserve local support.
