Tokyo Sushi & Grill

This is our go to affordable sushi spot in Dayton. They still have the 50% off sushi dine in and surprisingly take out the last time we went. The staff are nice and the Japanese decor is subtle. The sushi feels like more rice and not enough filing but for the price, can't really complain!

I get the veggie hibachi add chicken and it is a banger!!! The bowls are huge..2-3 meals in one so the price doesn't bother me. My order is always hot, fresh and correct. This is a go to for me when I want hibachi.

We love this place!! The sushi is always amazing and the service is always stellar!! This is one of those places you can come to on a weekly basis and never get bored with the menu because there is so much to choose from. The Holy moly roll is my favorite and their crab Rangoon is phenomenal!!

I have mixed feelings here. We used to grab takeout from this place all the time but haven't had it in awhile. First time we've dined in. The inside was nice. The sushi bar area seemed well maintained. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food was not the best. We got some hot tea that was lukewarm both times we got it. The miso soup was pretty bland. We got the tempura appetizer and it was ok. There was a ton of breading on the tempura though so it was a lot. The sesame chicken was not good. There was no sesame seeds visible so we were a little confused. The American Dream Sushi roll was pretty good.

Just south of Cornerstone'Tis a grand day.Tokyo Sushi & Grill is just south of Cornerstone; the south side of Feedwire.Tokyo Sushi & Grill is a small "mom and pop" Sushi house.Hannah, our server knows the menu, and will offer suggestions when asked.Today we are looking at Shrimp Tempura, and Shrimp Shushi.The lunch is excellent, as is the service.We like the large parking lot, and Tokyo Sushi & Grill offers a great seating arrangement.We look forward to return visits. The tariff is appropriate for the fare.

So many expectations but when you're Asian it is tough. The Tuna Lover and Ninja were good. We will do a hard pass on Godzilla and Sexy Girl. The spicy salmon on top of the sexy girl was too much, it killed the roll. Same with Godzilla, the taste, the flavor and the look just made us eat 1/2 and trash the rest We will come back, but we know what not to order and can't wait to try new stuff.Sake is on point tho.

Went here for lunch and was not super busy. The staff and service were good. The place was clean. Their miso soup and salad were excellent. The sushi in the bento box was good. The tempura was awesome. Crisp and light batter and not too oily. The Teriyaki was good but had too many onions. Overall a decent place.

Pretty good neighborhood sushi place. The fish was fresh and the tempura udon soup was a perfect treat for being sick. (I got takeout).

I had a wonderful experience treating my family to this place. Very nice ambiance. I had the Rainbow & Ocean sushi rolls and they were delicious. Sushi rolls are also 50% off so it was like a buy one get one free. My guest had the Hibachi Chicken & Rice and it was a generous portion. Service & cleanliness was also a plus. I highly recommend this place.
