Good solid American Chinese. Family owned and you'll often see the couple and their kids inside. Carry out is always on time and fresh. Interior is a bit older but cozy and clean.

It's okay but not good. It's a typical small town Chinese restaurant. The food is bland and needs better sauce. Dining area is worn out. The service could pick it up. It's one of the few Chinese places in the area. It's also probably the best. There's not much else to compete with in Troy. It would be nice to get more competition. That would give this place a reason to get better and not serve stuff that's salty and tasteless. I had the bean curd with mixed vegetables and white rice. This is about $8 for the only portion, which is a pretty large size. It still is an option for Chinese in the area. It's right on the square in Troy at the corner. There's a lot of parking spaces.

Food is always quickly prepared and delicious. Particularly like the Veg Lo Mein and Schezuan beef. Egg rolls and dumplings are pretty tasty, too! Portions are huge.

We stopped ordering form here a few years ago as the food had become less than good. Tonight we gave the place another chance and ordered through door dash. Describing what we received tonight as food should be considered criminal. This was absolutely the worst meal I have ever been served from a restaurant. We ordered two chef special dishes; orange beef and orange chicken. Both were comprised of rancid grisly cuts of meat and soaked in a thick soup of bright red sauce with nothing else. The pot stickers were thick, clumpy, burnt and had a strong odor of ash. The fried rice was steamed rice with a little soy sauce on it and had certainly never seen a frying pan of any kind. I am completely disgusted by the food we were given and will never order from here again.

Our daughter came home from college for the summer and requested Chinese food. We found this place and had a quick lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it was 12:30 so in my opinion that is not a good sign but I think many people order take out. It was very good food, and the employees were very hospitable. The surroundings were well worn and in need of an update, but clean. We ordered chicken lo mein and cashew chicken it came with choice of soup, choice of egg roll or crab rangoon and choice of white rice or fried rice. The fried rice is what we both ordered and it was just short grain white rice with light soy sauce. Some places serving fried rice you find serve a yellow rice (saffron rice) with vegetables or white rice with soy sauce with vegetables and little pieces of egg. This was a minimal effort fried rice but it paired nicely with the meal. The food was very fresh and served piping hot. One of the best egg rolls I have ever ate, definitely a win in the daughter's eyes.

Tokyo Peking is the only Asian restaurant I get my food from whenever I want something good to eat. I have been ordering delicious food from that restaurant for years. Never disappointed.

This place always comes through for me. Best Chinese food in town. Seems like it's better quality food than a lot of other "regular" Chinese places.
