Great ambiance and live music from AmyNoel.My mom and I stopped in for "girls night" and really enjoyed the laid back feel. We enjoyed their wines and doing a cheese + meat charcuterie board was the perfect light dinner. We would definitely come back again especially for live music on Saturdays. The service at the bar was a bit confusing at times. The gentleman who I assume was the owner seemed a bit assertive... a few interactions that seemed not so "customer service friendly". But that didn't take away from our experience.

Gale's Meade- Try It!! It's made from a 900 AD Viking recipe wow just wow, so smooth and refreshing!! Wonderful bar tender helped us pick out our drinks. This is a must if you're visiting Madison. Everyone's super nice.

This is a neat, tiny winery near downtown Madison. Make sure you get a wine tasting from the extremely knowledgeable (and enthusiastic) owner.

Steve and Elizabeth were so fun and made our visit so special! We enjoyed our time with them for a tasting and they are incredibly knowledgeable on the wine offerings. Not super sweet- dessert only wines. Truer wines, which I appreciated.

This place is top notch for many reasons. The owners are passionate and so knowledgeable about ciders and wine. We learned a lot. The wines are delicious and we were very happy to try new and exciting flavors. I loved the red wines and was pleasantly surprised I liked some whites. The charcuterie board is one of the best I had. We picked three cheeses and two meats. Fantastic.

Was in Madison, In. For acouple days so we checked out this winery which was right in town. It's small but had a nice patio outside. We did a wine tasting and had a glass of wine along with some cheese and crackers . They also have a bakery attached to it .

My boyfriend just turned 21 and we stopped in here to celebrate. We told the owner and he was more than excited to explain to us some things about wine we certainly hadn't heard before! It was a lovely experience with the tasting being free and the owner being so kind and patient explaining everything to us. Some of the best wine we've ever had, we left with 3 bottles!

We have been coming to Thomas Family Winery for the last 6-7 years. The wine is great and Steve and Elizabeth give the most informational tastings I've experienced. It's no frills, come in, do a tasting, buy a bottle or two and sit and enjoy a meat and cheese plate with their in-house baked rustic breads. As long as Thomas is open, we will return to Madison.

We had a good time here! Sat and hung out and played a game with my girlfriends. Plus a glass of wine!

My girlfriend and I have been there at least once a year for the past 5 years, always an enjoyable place to go. We always get the wine that is named "Saks." We went there a couple months ago on a Saturday afternoon and it was closed, I don't know why. Went there again today on a Saturday afternoon and it was almost empty. Ordered a bottle of Saks and a charcuterie board. We were told by the guy that they didn't have anything prepared. Gave the excuse that someone didn't show up. Ok, we got some bread, instead. Asked if we could get the bread heated and the guy put it in the microwave. How do you microwave bread and bring it out cold? It was still good, but cold. We both took a sip of wine and looked at each other with the same look. She said, "does this taste right?" I said, "no, it tastes old." I took the bottle up to the counter and told the guy that the wine wasn't good. He said, and I quote, "The cash register would beg to differ." Needless to say, we did not enjoy our experience in an empty winery with old wine. We went down the road to another winery and I will give my review on that one (Lanthier) next. If I would have given this a place a review a few years ago, it would have been at least a 4 star.
