Third Perk Coffeehouse And Wine Bar

This is my favorite local coffeehouse in my hometown! All of the coffees have unique names and the feel in there is very nostalgic and comfy.

Love the new location of Third Perk! I think this is a much better location downtown, in the Fire Blocks district that's taking off. The lattes here are my favorite in town!! The Bombeck with chocolate and raspberry is my favorite!! So flavorful. The chicken salad croissant sandwiches are flavorful. I look forward to trying the salads soon. And pretty soon they will be serving wine again. So many great small businesses right around the corner. Space Three fitness center on the same block for working out and then coffee after at Third Perk. Lots of more to come for the Fire Blocks district.

DAYTON MALL LOCATIONUnfortunately, I can't rate this review as zero stars. With my most recent interactions/experiences at 3rd Perk; I'm beyond livid. Please know I'll NEVER contemplate on patronizing this establishment again. They're completely, unprofessional and unapologetic about it. Honestly, this could have been a five star review, but with three strikes you're O-U-T! Which quickly, morphed into this one star. On Tuesday March 23, 2021 approx. 12p I attempted to place an order. I asked if Quesadilla's were being served... the young lady informed me she just opened and didn't have time to cook the ingredients needed. Upon attempting to place an order for two tacos she then informed me that "they're currently accepting CASH ONLY" due to some connection issues with their internet provider. -(STRIKE ONE) On Tuesday March 30, 2021 approx 4:15p I attempted to place an order "AGAIN." This same young lady informed me that they're not serving food this day. Typically, they'll have chicken salad; however on this day even chicken salad isn't in stock. She says, "primarily food is served on Saturday's ONLY." (mental note I'll be here Saturday to finally place this order I can never seem to place) Never once did she say, "we serve between the hours of... or we stop serving at 5p" By this time I'm wasting my time, sanity, gas, appetite. (STRIKE TWO)Now, it's Saturday April 3, 2021. I tried calling 3rd Perk first to ask any questions prior to wasting my time, gas or sanity. Of course, no one answers the phone. I walk up to place my order at approx. 5:25p. The employee says, "oh we stop serving food at 5p!" At this time I'm completely over this place and their unprofessionalism. (STRIKE THREE) O-U-T Apparently, the internet connection always has issues, no one ever answers the phone, ONLY CASH is accepted, food is only served on Saturday's until 5p but remind you they have Taco Tuesdays listed on the chalkboard. They're unapologetic and do not try to make accommodations or exceptions. They'd rather lose a customer and receive a one star review!

I had an awesome visit here! The Bourbon French Toast with Uncle Nearest for Sunday Brunch was out of sight! I meant to only have a few bites as we were scheduled to have a big lunch somewhere else. But the French toast was so good I ate almost the entire plate. I look forward to returning to Third Perk when I come back to Dayton.

This is a cute coffee shop with lots of charm and fabulous staff. I went in for a quick lunch, had an ice coffee and a turkey wrap. The wrap was delicious and it came with chips and a pickle. This cafe feels like a home. I cannot wait to come back and try one of the signature coffee drinks.

Very good coffee. Ordered a latte that consisted of Dark Chocolate & Raspberry flavoring. Asked for it to be less sweet and the barista did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to exploring the menu further in the future

If I lived in Dayton this would definitely be a regular hangout of mine. A groovy down to Earth coffee shop with tasty food, creative beverages and lotsa all around FLAVA. Taco Tuesday is said to have a fantastic DJ- wish I were around to catch some of those beats and bites.

Coffee shop and wine bar that used to be located next to the Spaghetti Warehouse. I never visited that location, so I can't make a comparison. Lots of comfy seating options, jazz music, and fresh floral arrangements on the tables makes it welcoming. The coffee is good. There are some lunch options, as well as smoothies. I just heard the barista say they're waiting on their liquor license to offer wine, which they hope to have Spring 2021. She also mentioned outdoor seating in the spring. Can't wait to try all they have to offer!

Third Perk is a great local coffeehouse! It's located near our workplace and they keep us nice and caffeinated. And it is obvious how much people like the place because every time I've visited, people are sitting inside and outside the building. I would much rather give my money to a local, female-owned business than to a big business. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend!
