This place makes you feel like your grandma cooked you dinner. Literally every bite tasted like it was actually homemade and not just a Sysco foods recipe. The staff is very friendly and happy to help. Even on a Tuesday lunch, they treated me as if I was having the premium steak dinner. The vibe here is great. I am a road warrior and I miss homemade food. This place made that happen.

This is the local family restaurant in WCH. It's all ok but nothing is special. The best thing about it was that the service was fast!We started with deviled eggs. A bit too much vinegar in the mix and no other flavors came through. Just ok.Next we split a mushroom Swiss burger and a chicken bacon ranch wrap. This wrap was listed as a feature item but again it was just ok. The burger was cooked well done (not a fan of well done here) - but had a good fire grill taste. There were no other seasonings so it was burger, onions, mushrooms, cheese served on a plain bun. Again, it was just ok.Sides were broccoli and Cole slaw. I don't think I'd come back for just ok.

An extremely clean refreshing place to eat! Food was excellent, served quickly, nice portions, and not expensive. Fried Chicken and Baked Steak specials were fantastic. Genuine home made pies that are made fresh daily (12 kinds!). Highly recommend!!!

We have been here several times over the past weeks and every experience has been great. The Willow has the feel of a down home local diner and the food choices are good for all diets. Tilapia and salmon are excellent. Their salads are more than just lettuce as many restaurants serve these days. When in the WCH area, The Willow is THE place to dine. PS - their selection of homemade pies is second to none!

We were in Washington Court House at lunch time so we looked on Yelp and went to the Willow which was the highest rated restaurant in town. I see why. Outside is unassuming but inside was cheerful and super clean. We both ordered the fried fish sandwich with onion rings. Portions were not overly large but was enough. Taste was outstanding and not greasy tasting. Advertising was they specialized in pies and they came through. Many choices but I love sugar cream and it was one of the best I ever had. Wait staff looked extremely busy hustling about but was efficient and attentive.

My third visit for the prime-rib and it was again excellent! Instead of the salad I had the French onion soup which was a slight up charge but excellent ! Also instead of the mashed potatoes and gravy I had their hand breaded onion rings that were delicious! I took home a pice of their chocolate pie that was wonderful!I've upgraded my review rating from 4 to 5 stars not because the food was any better as its alway been excellent, but because this time we were a birthday party of 9 older individuals, and our server took the challenge in hand with flexibility and professionalism without missing a beat. I also got to try one of the fried chicken livers which were wonderful! Another great meal and experience!

Quick, delicious, with an attentive staff. Open floor plan with standard layout. Great variety on the menu. I got the mushroom Swiss burger, which features a hand pressed patty and big mushrooms. My burger was well-done, which I prefer medium. Make sure to specify. I also got a cup of potato soup. I wish I'd gotten a bowl. One of my favorite WCH spots.

We were driving through Ohio on 35, and I have a friend who lives in Washington Court House, but we'd never been there. My husband is a U.S. History teacher, and the name has always intrigued me, so I suggested we stop there mid-afternoon on a Tuesday for dinner. Thanks to a quick Yelp! search, we found The Willow, and I'm SO glad we did! It was wonderful!Since it was Tuesday, the Baked Steak was one of the daily specials, and as we learned from the sign, Chicken and Noodles are ALWAYS a daily special, all day, every day. My husband was thrilled! There's a full bar, so we were also able to have a drink (their Long Islands are on point!) and relax for awhile before resuming our drive. We decided we HAD to have dessert, too. I'd seen pictures of the Fried Cheesecake in the Yelp! reviews, and alerted my husband, a huge cheese cake fan. Then I learned that it was "two for $5" pie day, but the Fried Cheesecake, not being a pie, wasn't included in that special. Sooooo ... I had to get a piece for myself, and another one to go! I can rationalize just about anything that has to do with pie!I had the peanut butter pie at the restaurant, and the banana cream to go, which I ate last night, the day after we were at the restaurant. Both were delicious, but I'd go with the peanut butter again if I could only choose one -- it was light, fluffy, and creamy, and not at all too sweet. Perfection!Service was excellent, parking was ample, and we were seated immediately when we arrived, even though it was already fairly busy mid-to-late afternoon early in the week. We're going to be in Dayton in a few months for a weekend event, and we're already planning a side trip down to Washington Court House so we can visit again!
