The Wildflower Cafe

The Wildflower Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in the area!With locally sourced, quality, and organic ingredients the creations coming out of the kitchen are superb! The menu is always changing based on what is currently fresh and available making each experience unique and interesting. The dining experience is equally unique. Wildflower Cafe is in a house that was converted into a restaurant where each room of the house is a different dining room creating a comfy homey feel. Space is limited, so I would highly recommend making reservations in advance.

Neighborhood wine and cigar shop plus eclectic menu. Dining on second floor of old house , up a steep wooden staircase , high tops only .Service was prompt and pleasant . Our table had butternut squash dish, mushroom Wellington and fried green tomato BLT, well prepared .My dish was the least expensive at $19.I ordered a glass of Cabernet from the verbal wine list ( nothing in writing ).It was a flavorful Cab- when the bill came , my glass of wine was $20!! This is not LA, it's Warren Co Ohio !The meal and ambiance were ok , but will likely not return .

Not much to love here.The tables were so close together that every word of every conversation could be heard in the room. Stools with no backs to sit on. A crazy mix of music playing too loudly. Cigar smoke wafting from the patio.The hamburger was certainly not "Cincinnati's Best", but was rather bland, dry, and basic. The bacon on the burger was not freshly cooked, but was tough, chewy and dry.The other dishes were okay, but nothing to write home about.The service was good, friendly, and efficient. Too much time is taken to describe the wines and related information, the specials, soups, and related menu offerings. Things were overly complicated for such simple food.This was not a comfortable or inspiring experience.

Quaint little place nestled in a neighborhood. Had the Cincinnati Magazine award winning burger, quite tasty. Also had the Bread pudding. Very yummmmmm !! ... would come back to try new dishes.

My husband and I tried this out for date night, and so happy we did! It's a cute old house, converted into a restaurant. There's limited seating so make sure you make a reservation! We were quickly greeted by the manager who gave us tour of the outdoor space, then the wine room where all the wines are at retail pricing plus corking fee (great deal!), then upstairs where we ate in a quaint space. The server was very knowledgeable and gave recommendations for the truffle mushroom fonduta, tuna salad nicoise and the chef's special surf and turf. The ingredients are farm to table and certified organic!!! Need I say more! I wish there was more seating outside since it was such a beautiful night, but there was only one table, and a section covered with cigar smoking. Maybe a deck on the back would be a nice addition! We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu!

Food is just not good at all. I mean how do you mess up a salad??? For some reason we was not allowed inside so since we were hungry we had to order from the back patio...oh by the way we're African American too

One of my new favorite restaurants when I visit Cincinnati. Loved the ambience, the delicious farm to table entrees and service -- the chef even checked on us. Don't miss the Beet "Wings" - they taste even better than the real thing!

We got carryout from here while staying at Great Wolf. Oh my goodness, it was amazing. Loved the burgers and they made amazing kids meals for the kids. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. Staff went above and beyond for a carryout order!

We called ahead based on advice from another review. The top floor was rented out, so the only option was outside and walk in only. It wasn't that warm outside, so we thought we would give it a try. The seating choices were two top cafe tables or outdoor sectionals under a covering with fans. We took the sectional seating. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. The server was friendly and told us the specials, along with the prices for each. We had the fried green tomatoes, grass fed hamburger, and wild flower salad with chicken. The chicken was very tender, and I have never had a salad so tasty, The food is locally sourced. I could tell a difference in how I felt after eating this food. It made you feel good instead of stuffed and bloated like a typical restaurant. The salad was a WILDFLOWER SALAD local greens + cranberry goat cheese + marcona almond + pickled ginger + lemon riesling crème fresh. The dressing was amazing. I also enjoyed the pickled ginger. Later, the chef came out to check on the food and gave us and the others outside a free appetizer to try. The employees at this restaurant really seemed to enjoy their job, and to me, that says a lot for a place of employment. We will be back again. I was very impressed with the food, the people, and the restaurant.

Ladies night on the patio with some great friends, great drinks, and amazing food! Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Amy was super attentive and never let me run out of my hummingbird drink. We had some awesome appetizers (who knew beets could be "wings?"), and had a lot of choices for the vegetarians and gluten intolerant in our group. I had an incredible mushroom dish and was just amazed and how good everything was! We will definitely be back soon!
