My wife and I came to this venue for one of the Candlelight Concerts by Fever. Now i will admit right off the bat, that my review is skewed by the concert content. I saw their take on Hans Zimmer and it was fantastic. I love how his compositions complement and deepen my immersion into a movie. Enough about that now onto the venue.I found the venue very inviting especially in comparison to other venues that were used for Candlelight Concerts. This venue has nice seating in an air conditioned main hall which made it very comfortable allowed me to enjoy the concert without fidgeting. The bathrooms were nice and easily accessible and on the same level. There is an upstairs for standing but i did not meander up there. All in all i found the venue cozy and acceptable for the concert.

Went to a "Candlelight" event here. Beautiful space in an old rehabbed church. All the gothic charm including a wrap around interior balcony. Great location across from Washington Park.

Awesome venue! We attended an event which featured horror music played by a string cortet orchestra. It truly was the perfect Halloween vibe and date night, the event space was absolutely beautiful. It was an old style church and we had standing room balcony seats which offered a great elevated view and right next to the bar. The venue was beautiful and we look forward to attending more and especially make this one an annual tradition.

They held a "Fever: Candlelight Concert" event in their space and I have to say, that space is spectacular for such an event! The fact that it's an old church and has the stain glass windows, wood floors and a unique staircase entrance that parts two different ways when you get to the first landing is really cool. The floor level had the seating area with the bar in the back. The candles were strewn everywhere on the stage and on the sides of the room. The set up was beautifully done and being in an old church decked out in candlelight gave it a serene, relaxed and medieval feel. Even the stairs leading up to the balcony had candles set alongside the pathway! We stood up in the balcony area which had (I think) the best view. It was a gorgeous view overlooking the stage and all the candles and despite the fact that they weren't real candles, there was still this entity of warmth to the atmosphere. Add the string quartet playing sounds of Vivaldi and it gives off a romantic appeal.

My best friend and I attended the Candlelight Concert featuring music by Adele here. Neither of us had been to the Transept before, and it was a beautiful venue for a string quartet. Fever puts on these concerts and lights the venue with flameless candles. The acoustics were wonderful. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful venue. Came here for one of the Candlelight concert series (Vivaldi's Four Seasons) and got an affordable priced glass of wine at the bar before sitting down for an incredibly enjoyable listening experience. So nice to hear such talented people play, surrounded by hundreds of "candles" and stained glass windows. Looking forward to attending another event at this hidden gem by Washington Park.

This is a super cool and trendy meeting spot right in the heart of Over the Rhine. It's so hip that there isn't even a name on the building. Just look for the tall church on the south west corner of Washington Park (near Music Hall). I attended an HR conference here and the appetizers were really good, as was the bar service. Full bar with limited wine options.2 things to note:1. There are a lot of stairs in this place. While there is an elevator, most people will need to use the stairs. 2. Bathrooms are small and there aren't many of them. The one I used was very clean, classically designed, and homey.

Great local venue for events, I was here for the NewCo Cincinnati VIP event, love how they transformed a German gothic church into the hot new event venue in OTR. Beautiful to walk around the venue, see the historical details.Friendly bar service with local craft beers, food from Funky's catering - the Cincinnati caterer - had a selection of gourmet cheeses, sliders and everyone loved the donut bar - where you could decorate a glazed donut with just about any sweet sugary topping imaginable. The Transept is ideal for a memorable event in the heart of Cincinnati.

I'm giving this place 5 stars even though it's not fully done. The space has been wonderfully reinvigorated without removing the old charm. I attended a fundraising event in this space and it's just perfect for an event. We had a bit of a challenge hearing at times, but I think that is just working out some kinks in this new space. I'm looking forward to visiting this space again when it is completely finished. This is a space you really need to check out if you are looking to host an event.
