The Talon Tavern

If I could have given zero stars, I would have! Awful, awful, awful! The absolute worst pizza and appetizers we have every had! This is definitely late nite drunk college student food. Awful, awful, awful!

Okay...... this little friendly tavern has so much potential for being active Milford night club. 1 ) D J with a friendly crowd personality and lighted dance floor with lighting system. Note: disco ball over dance floor.2 ) new pool table and new pool accessories. 3) Get with an IT professional about being on the search engines. 4) advertising is key ( Radio )5 ) FB is key.6) Have a few theme nights. Note: Mildord has nothing in nightlife for age 40 to 70.

Tuesday night is there is all you can eat pizza night. There are a wide variety of pizzas made that are unique, and salad. The price is five dollars per person. Good selection of beers on tap and for a neighborhood bar in a strip mall it is good. I go there at least twice a month.

Unfriendly bartenders. A variety of people kept going behind the bar to serve themselves. The owners were unbelievably rude. However' if you want to go to a bar where they don't know how to poor drinks and you get all alcohol with no mixer' this is the place to go.the night ended with a fight in the parking lot between a couple groups of patrons.

Lovely little hometown bar. Came in from out of town with a few friends. Had great drinks, very sweet and kind bartender. Lovely night!

Really good pizza can found here and that's for certain. It's a good old hometown tavern with live music on the weekends. The service is always friendly, the people are friendly and again, the pizza is good. Did I say good? I meant to say, great! Try it! You won't regret it!!

I gave this review a 3 star but please continue to read on. The pizza buffet was recommended from a reliable friend so I was looking forward to it. I double checked the web site; Tuesday is pizza buffet night. We arrived at 5:30 on the d.o.t. and as I walked in the door, the only thing I encountered was a local yocal corner bar. I looked around and said to my hubby, "I think I made a mistake. This doesn't look like the right place." After standing there for a while, in a dark far corner of the bar we spotted an area that had empty table cloths.....so we decided to inquire. We approached the bar and I'll say....service at the bar was typical bar service. Not perfection but typical bar service. We were not OFFERED the buffet (could be a great up sale) but we inquired. The owner, Jen, was super great. Very nice. She approached our table several times! She let us pick the desert pizza since we were newbies. The pizzas were great. My tiny complaint is that if you're going to advertise the buffet starts at 5:30; have the food ready @ 5:30. My huge complaint....After eating we ordered an extra drink and socialized. We didn't leave until close to 7pm however when we left there were empty pizza trays out there; one tray had 2-3 small pieces. We left before 7pm and the buffet looked bare. If you advertise to be open until 8:30; make the buffet look full and inviting. If I would have walked in later than 5:45 and saw that, I would have walked right back out. If it weren't for the owner being so personal, I would not return. With all that being said, I might try it again. Food is good. Add some finishing touches to customer service and you could rock this place out

Every town needs at Talon Tavern!! The way local establishments should be!!! Never a bad time!!Inexpensive Drinks, lots of Locals!! Great Service!!

I have been going to talon tavern for probably 10 years now. I love the owner Jen & all the staff. They are always super friendly and sweet. It has a very "local bar" feel but you will feel right at home. Love their pizzas, can't say there is ever a bad one.

Soggy microwave pizza and low class service, the few beers I had tasted like sour butter
