The Sweet Retreat is good, like very good, maybe even very goooooooooddd. So, yes I enjoyed it and we enjoyed it. Since it was Father's Day I treated myself to the Peanut Butter Heart Attack Sundae and wow, it was full of Peanut Butter flavor. If you're a nut for Peanut Butter, you'll go nutty for this terrific sundae that peanut butter sauce is amazing. They have about 20 ice cream flavors from Buckeye Fever, to Raspberry Sorbet and coffee to s'mores, it's really a good selection. They also have 30 soft serve ice cream flavors including the famous KI Blue (KI stands for King's Island, remember King's Island during their Smurf years?), which I'm totally trying next time for nostalgia reasons only. They have dole whip, I've heard their Ice Cream Nachos are very good (they have a cult following). They have slushies and smoothies and their rendition of the flurry, called "The Cyclone". Just walk up, ring the bell, grab a seat (seating is limited outside, there is no indoor seating) and wait for the staff to come who will order on a tablet and within minutes your order is ready. The price is good, the scoops are massive (look at my raspberry sorbet picture, that is the kiddie 1 scoop) and make the cost worth it. Enjoy this local of locals, it's awesome. Just wish the drive thru wasn't right next to the sitting area with no wall or fence or railing or nothing, with kids it felt a little unsafe, but hey at least it will teach your kids to pay attention. Hard to figure out how to order, front was closed. No substituting, (hot fudge sundae had to be with vanilla soft serve). Big scoops, ice cream was good.

This spot is amazing! They have 30 soft serve flavors and my husband and I highly recommend getting blueberry! The peanut butter is pretty tasty too! They have a gorgeous outdoor patio space with picnic tables that are covered with umbrellas. We haven't tried any food, but they offer a small list of yummy looking snacks too! If you live in the Belmont or Dayton area, it'd be super easy to walk here! Otherwise, they have a small parking lot in the back.

I originally rated this business a 2 star based off the sorbet I didn't like very much. My boyfriend didn't care for his ice cream selection either. We recently decided to try something different there and give it a second try. I tried the blueberry pie ice cream in a cone and my boyfriend tried the raspberry cheesecake ice cream. Both are great. We loved the crumbles in it.

This shop was great the first two times that I went there, but there was this curly haired Caucasian guy that ignored me and served several other people ahead of me and did nothing to remedy the situation after finally deciding to serve me. The ice cream is always great here though, so I can't take that from them at all.

OMGGGG THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I mean that in all caps because each ice cream I've had has been really good. This place is definitely not stingy on toppings in which this is great because I taste flavor in every bite! I just love this place and can't wait to try other sundaes and soft serves in the future!
