I stopped at The Suds before it closed for the season for a Suds double burger. Although it could've used a bit more secret sauce and seasoning, the sandwich was a good size with juicy beef and a lightly toasted bun. A malt made with cookies n' cream ice cream was ordered next, which was a sweet delight.Service was prompt and kindly. While working on my malt, a couple boys riding bikes came for quick bite. The gentleman working also gave the boys a couple bottled Sprites a moment later, which was really cool. More people started coming by while I finished, and a lot of upbeat energy was seen coming from both customer and worker ends.A handful of 50s style items decorate the exterior. Album covers in bulletin display cases, a juke box and at least one vintage Coke vending machine can be seen near the order window. Drive-in menu displays and speakers are also found, although I think the speaker system is inoperable, unfortunately. Unless dining in a car, the seating is all outdoors, and there is plenty for a good sized crowd. It seems that the place is a hot spot for car enthusiasts as well, on Saturday evenings if I'm not mistaken.A neat, retro burger joint in downtown Greenwood!

This was such a wonderful surprise. First time here and I ordered a double Suds burger, onion rings and a root beer. Let me start with the burger. It. Was. Big. No pre-made frozen patty here. It was clearly fresh and delicious. The onion rings were large too. The root beer tasted homemade. I didn't ask if it was, but it reminded me of root beer that my grandmother would make. Our car hop was fun, cheerful and told us all about the specials and such. Oh...and if you go there on a Saturday night, there's a classic car show and live music too.

First time eating here. Real friendly people and good service. I got a Tenderloin, onion rings and a root beer. Tenderloin was good size and very good . Hot and Juicy. Root Beer was pretty good. Onion rings were hot and looked great but they were the thick kind. Batter good on those but I don't like biting into a wall of onions. Im sure I'll be back .

The food was fine, there's nothing wrong with that. I enjoyed the service from a boy named Levi, he was quick and to the point. But you would have to be out of your mind to think one of the employees is not methed out 100% of the time. She is covered in meth sores, her teeth rotted out, and cannot walk in a straight line, nor form a full sentence. It cannot be safe to be both tipping her in cash and letting her serve food. Yikes, Suds.

Very average. The name is misleading "The Suds". On top of that they have a big Root Beer marque sign on the overhang. I ordered a root beer and asked the waitress if they made it on site. She replied "no it is just Barq's". I changed my order to water. Hotdogs were ok. Best they there got were the onion rings. Waitress was very nice.
