The Silver Slipper

One of my favorite places to go in Dayton for oh so many reasons!! Get the oysters and the bathroom selfie!

The Silver Slipper is such a vibe. So artsy, which I really appreciate. Small and intimate. Food was amazing - their meat and cheese selection is great. My favorite was the salad, the vinaigrette was delicious. And a pretty solid espresso martini!

Can't say how much I love this place! It's a hidden gem in the GEM city! If you like oysters and wine with food music please stop by and tell Brock I sent you! If you don't like oysters, cool.. try the French chicken, slipper salad and maybe Baxters Pick! You should be a happy camper after. The vibe is always chill in here enough to where you can still have comfortable conversation with friends. Service is great as well'

Great ambience. It was a small menu but we tried several things and they were all great! Also great cocktails. Can't wait to go back!!

Great ambiance, fun place. Waitress a little stiff, but nicer with smaller crowd. Only a few tables to sit so you may have to wait, but great drinks and appetizers...

This establishment was a quaint local place. At first glance, the place seemed small but it's intentionally cozy. I was recommended this place by a friend for the wine so I had the Bordeaux rogue and they gave me a good pour. They don't make the wine themselves but they offer plenty of international selections! I got a couple cocktails and tried their appetizers and charcuterie options, which were both well priced. They mentioned that they have collaboration events sporadically from month to month and I would definitely like to go back for one. The bartender was very friendly and pleasant to chat with.

Came here with a friend for a pre-dinner glass of wine and loved it! The ambiance almost feels dive bar esque with the decor, stringed lights, and entry through the back, but the wine and food menu is definitely elevated. It's a great combo. This place just gives off comfortably and effortlessly cool vibes. We got a couple of glasses of an orange wine, which was delicious. I love getting orange wine when I see it on menus, as it's not that common! Also shared some marinated olives to snack on with our wine, and they might've been the tastiest marinated olives I've ever had.

What an amazing hip little joint in Dayton!Stopped in for a drink and some later night bites. Bartenders were on their game and the kitchen had it going too! Summer salad and mortadella melt was just what I needed! Very cool vibes and some rad decor....will definitely be back!
