The Paragon Supper Club

This place made for a fantastic date night! We started with King Crab cocktail, it was a cold dish. It was good but would not get again. We then ordered a bone is ribeye. OMGoosh!!!! Hands down one of THE BEST steaks I have ever had. Ended the evening with a frozen grasshopper, I highly recommend! The service was amazing and the courses were perfectly timed. Thanks Paragon!

Paragon has been a long time fav for me. When they are on their game, as they were tonight, the steak was as good as it gets. A slight char on the filet as I requested was very tasty. The only negative is that the shrimp cocktail, while still good, was not really up to the level of years past. Service was spot on thanks to Amy who was there when we needed her but not intrusive. Ambiance is the good old supper club/ steak house of old that it's been since they opened, which I love.

Literally the best filet mignon I've ever had. Perfectly cooked every time. Cuts easily and melts like butter in your mouth. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Atmosphere is so classic and relaxing. Very much an older crowd, but that's how you know it's good. The wait staff is so polite and they really make you feel at home. Great wine selection as well.

It had been years since I made my way to The Paragon. Nothing has changed. You still feel like a celebrity, treated as the most important guest of the night. Service is engaging and proficient. The food is meticulously prepared from the artichokes to a perfect mid rare bone in ribeye. Their wine list is impeccable and the supper club ambiance completes the trifecta. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. I've already planned my next visit in a few days.

The food is always delicious. New specials every week and the staff is the best. Paragon never disappoints.

We went out for a holiday dinner with friends. This establishment was GORGEOUS!! Beautiful decor in red and gold. So lovely. Our server was Courtney and she was nice. My husband and had the filet with baked potato and mushrooms. Steak cooked to perfection. Potato hot and delicious. He said the mushrooms had no real flavor. I had the 7-layer salad...YUM!!! And potato soup. Nice flavor. Creamy and filling. I cannot say enough about the salad. From the first bite to the last I was wanting more. Crisp and crunchy!! My hubby and his friends had cheesecake for dessert. They all said the best cheesecake ever!! Really nice place for a festive gathering of friends or a dinner for 2. I'm so thrilled we went. Lovely experience. Thank you Courtney!!! You were amazing.

Another really solid choice for a nice meal. We can't afford to come regularly but mainly come for celebrations like birthdays, anniversary ect. Love the escargot... and dipping the bread in the yummy garlic butter. Our entree came with salad and 2 sides. It was way too much food and i suggested next time we share a meal. My lobster tails were small but had perfect taste and texture.. there were 4 of them which was too much. Hubby loved his filet and it was perfect texture... he ordered medium and it was medium plus but he was satisfied. My salad was drowned in dressing so couldnt eat it which was disappointing. But we left full and it was more than we could eat. This is expensive but if you did share the meal it would be quite reasonable. There was live music but the large intoxicated group next yo us was so loud we hadnt noticed the music till we were walking out.

Our lamb order was a menagerie of bones, very difficult to extract the meat from. One of the filet mignon was over chared and had to be sent back. Another filet mignon, the special, consisted of two quarter size filets wrapped in bacon. (Rather small).So all this by saying the experience wasn't what I'd been used to.

The Paragon Supper Club is a true gem here in Dayton. We had our first visit last night and everything from the service to the food was excellent. Our waiter Chris took amazing care of us and we really liked how he went at our pace and didn't rush us. He was very personable and tailored our meal to us, which was wonderful. And would you just look at that steak :)

We had a birthday celebration here. Had not been there for awhile. Experience was excellent! The three of us had various steaks. All were wonderful. Wine list is excellent and reasonably priced.Liked it so much taking the entire family this week. It's a great old fashioned steakhouse!
