The Paddock Club

Service was terrible, took forever to get anything. Never checked on us after we got our food. Got the meatloaf as my entree, the "house made ketchup sauce" was actually a half a bottle of Heinz ketchup. I couldn't even see the meat. It was also charred so bad and so crispy. My whole meal ended coming back up the next day. I don't think I'll be back.

WEC Ohio has some of the worst food I've ever been confronted with but the Paddock Club takes the prize for awful. I went there the first time today. I ordered wings and a Queen salad. I got the order to go. Both items were inedible. the wings were actually heavily breaded frozen nuggets. Dry. Hard as rocks. I broke the plastic fork from the takeout service on one. The Queen salad was suffocated in shredded cheese and covered with a weird garlic insanity dressing with some cilantro(?) in it. I gagged when I tried to swallow a bite.So. Much. Garlic. I went to our house rental and had a banana and a tootsie pop. Better than what I paid for at the Paddock Club at WEC. While the staff were kind I would recommend that WEC FINALLY get some decent food for the show venue. It is just completely unacceptable as is. Hire folks who can cook for goodness sake. People coming here want and expect to be able to eat well. Or is that only for the Florida location?

What a great restaurant on the World Equestrian Center property. We dined there three nights In a row. Great food and flavors. I highly recommend coming there. The Spilway and General Denver better step up there game. Because when the locals figure how great this place is, they are in trouble.

The service at night during horse show events is a horror story. Easily the most disorganized spot I have ever dined at or ordered a drink in. A hamburger took over an hour one night and a salad over 1.5 hours. Really. A salad. And to get a drink at the bar was a Herculean task. None of the bar staff ever looked up. They don't enter orders immediately into an electronic system and with a lot of diners and a tiny cooking staff it becomes haphazard on when anyone's order will be out. Now, the waitresses are really nice but the place is a mess!!

The burger is the best thing on the menu, and it is great! The Cuban I got could have used some more care, pork, or something. Not as good as I had hoped, but everyone who got the burger was happy.

Good food. A decent variety served from their pricier entrees like a filet mignon, or a roasted chicken, then on to pasta fettuccine with a optional (chicken, salmon) protein if you like. Also, available some economical entree salads or a good sandwich variety. We had the spicy Korean chicken sandwich with a side salad incl. Also, a Basil Pesto chicken sandwich on a ciabatta roll with the choice curly Q fries. Both were pretty good. A 1/2 lb. Paddock burger's available which looked really good. A pretty well stocked spacious bar. Good mixed drink choices. Good wines and choice beer selections you'll probably enjoy. Along, with good attentive service. I'm recommending it because of my higher stds.! Good place. Especially during their major horse shows. Pleasant atmosphere.April 29, 2022 Update: Returned the next day. Not as attentive unfortunately. 2 1/2 stars on the lacking service. Different youngsters at the bar. Hope they get that corrected.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Paddock Club. The daily specials were priced very good and the food was presented well. The food didn't knock our socks off, but we would give it a try again. The Korean chicken sandwich didn't have much chicken, but pretty flavorful.
