Special thanks to Ali and Trevor for always being available to promptly address any inquiries.The culinary experience at The Monastery was an absolute standout, with countless guests praising the exquisite hors d'oeuvres, the tempting grazing table at the cocktail hour, the well-stocked and quick-moving bars, and, especially the dinner itself, which exceeded restaurant quality. I still dream of the aged cheddar mashed potatoes! The chef's ability to provide a one-of-a-kind food experience is truly unmatched, making The Monastery an unparalleled choice for hosting weddings. The service staff was exceptional, working tirelessly and offering warm smiles that made us, as the guests of honor, feel truly special.The natural beauty of the building itself is enchanting and enough of a reason to book with The Monastery, but it's the dedication and top-notch service from every member of the staff, both administrative and service, that elevates The Monastery to a league of its own in terms of wedding venues. From my perspective as the bride, everything unfolded flawlessly- but I am fully aware that there was a tremendous effort behind the scenes to ensure this smooth and seamless experience.Doug Betz, the owner, made a strong vow to my parents during our initial tour years ago - a commitment to treat our wedding with the same attention as he would his own children's weddings. It instilled trust and admiration for The Monastery from the inside out. I can genuinely affirm that Doug and the entire team not only upheld this promise but surpassed it. I have never been to this place before or heard of it until a wedding I went to in August. It was one of the best places I've ever been to for a wedding. The staff was AWSOME the owners were on site the whole time the wedding was going on making sure it stayed top notch service. And let me tell you it was all staff was dressed to the T it was a true white glove service event. Excellent service and staff building was an old church form the 1800s some remodeled and some not which is what made it so neat. If not anything check out the pictures online it's AWSOME to see.

If you are looking for a wedding venue that is a "one stop shop" with an amazing and accommodating staff - look no further! The Monastery Event Center was the perfect place to hold our wedding ceremony and reception! Lindsey was amazing in communicating and finalizing details up to wedding day - from linen colors and food selection to floor layout and number of guests. While Kris executed those plans even better than I could have imagined at the rehearsal and on wedding day. This staff not only makes your wedding dreams come to life, but truly serves their couples. I cannot recommend the Monastery Event Center enough to engaged couples who are "venue shopping'"!
