The Meat Store

This is a great local meat store because it's really low-key. My husband and I have always driven by here and we were always curious but never went inside until now. Definitely a local establishment which is nice - we like supporting the small businesses. They definitely get a lot of traffic here and it looks like they do good business and they have good quality products.We haven't bought any meats here yet but this review is based on their sandwiches. My husband ordered the number 3 and I ordered the number 12 and they were both very good. We didn't know this but you can also customize your sandwiches or do a custom order - we'll do that next time for sure. Sandwiches had a lot of meat - they were very generous hence the meat store lol. I definitely would recommend going here for lunch and it's actually quite affordable compared to prices nowadays.

We just had the stuffed pork chops for dinner last night . Wow! it was delicious!! center cut boneless stuffed, amazing in the oven. these traveled from Ohio to Michigan frozen solid, not sure what they do but those freezers are amazing for travel.

I agree with all the other reviews... so many times ive driven by, usually on the way home thinking, boy I need to stop there some day! Just walking in the door you realize, youve made the right decision by how fantastic it smells! There is the regular deli counter, sandwich counter, freezers full of take home dinner goodness, and a nice seating area! I tried the "So this is why we have tastebuds" and added lettuce and tomato. It was so yummy and packed full of plenty of high quality meat and cheese. The deep river chips they have are really good, along with the spicy pickle! They have a pre-set sandwich menu, or you can build your own. The deli has some amazing looking steaks and bacon. There are lots of goodies in the freezer such as twice baked potatoes, stuffed peppers, pasta, and so much more! I look forward to coming back for more lunches and to grab some goodies to make a nice dinner!

I have been coming to The Meat Store for years and it has become my "go-to" for all of my fresh beef, chicken and pork needs. The owner and team are all knowledgeable and always pleasant. I have never had a bad experience with anything I have purchased there over the years. Their kababs are awesome and better than doing them from scratch. I usually try going around lunch as their sandwiches are the best. They're so big that I eat half for lunch and save the other half for the next day!As my wife and I are now empty-nesters, I started buying their frozen pre-made meals and have to say that they are outstanding. The perfect amount and are great for people who don't want to cook for two. Do yourself a favor and check out this place. You won't be disappointed!

This is our go-to sandwich store! But you can't go wrong with their prepared meals either! Everyone is so friendly and they are an important pillar of our community!

Once again I have found a place that I have passed for years. This little butcher shop that can make the most amazing double deckers along with many speciality sandwichs. Stop and check it out well worth the stop...

Quality meats and superior service! They are always willing to cut whatever size steak you want. Also lots of great Sid's available too!

Meat selection is very fresh, prime filets looked amazing, hamburger meat was very good and so fresh, service is friendly and fast, delicious sandwiches, etc. Staff is so friendly and patient!
