Great spot to grab a bite before heading to the ArtCraft for a movie! Breakfast and lunch options with enormous coffee flavor selections. Team is knowledgeable and helpful. Outdoor dining available in warmer months.

The son of the owner informed me this location and the Martinsville location are owned by his mom. It has been many months since I visited the Martinsville location and their menu has really expanded to include a plethora on lunch choices in addition to an expanded breakfast menu at both locations. And he said the menu will expand again soon. Since I was by myself and he had some time, he sat down and we chatted for awhile. The seating at both restaurants, and you can call them that now since they do not just sell drinks anymore, has been greatly expanded both indoors and outside. He also told me they are working on opening a Plainfield location.I ordered my usual The Slugger on a biscuit for my bread choice (4) with sausage for my meat choice (3) and provolone for my cheese choice (5). It was superb and just how I remembered it from the other location when I was eating breakfast there several days a week about a year ago. I also ordered one Biscuit & Gravy which was excellent as well.I love small local business establishments and cooking. They always have great service and a friendly atmosphere. I parked in the public parking lot across the street since it was a Saturday and street parking was full. The restroom was clean, well stocked and had a pleasant fragrance.

Scotch eggs were excellent, owner communicated to me frequently explaining that they take a while to cook. Drove over with my wife, excellent service and I tried the French toast and she had the biscuits and gravy. Portion size was appropriate and customer service was fantastic. One of the best chais that I've had. If you're looking for something unique, the Local Grind is a good place to go. For the approach it's going for, it is a five star in the category.

Brand new drink joint in Franklin, Indiana! Serving locally roasted coffees, teas, milkshakes, bubble tea, soda and snacks. I got a strawberry bubble tea and it was delicious! Just the right amount of sweet. Sugar free and healthy options too. Lots of varieties and something for everyone. Will go back to try out more from the menu. Stop in and check them out - cute little shop that's perfect for downtown Franklin.

We try to support local restaurants. We were so disappointed with our food experience. My spouse ordered the grilled chicken salad $11.99 and I ordered the Philly Steak and cheese with an upgrade to a side salad.I took pictures because the salad my spouse ordered was no bigger than my $2 upgrade for a side salad, except for having grilled chicken on it. You can get a grilled chicken salad at a fast food restaurant 2x bigger for less money. The steak for the sandwich is cut in thick strips instead of shaved. Very hard to eat, steak falls of the bread. For $26 we could have almost eaten at a buffet.The door was open, allowing for a large amount of flies to bother you while you eat inside.On a positive note, THE STAFF was amazing and very friendly.We will not go back due to our food and atmosphere experience.
