Beautiful property and event space. Love the outdoor Pavilion area. The indoor Halls are spacious and warm with high ceilings, lots of lighting options and a traditional feel. Check it out if you haven't!

Great festivals and THE BEST FISH FRY in Cincinnati. You MUST come out for lent and the July Schutzenfest. Plenty of festivals throughout year and the shooting club is a blast, American bullets and German beer and classy people. Founded on the great principles of Fr. Kolping.

A great outdoor space. Maybe a bang for your buck! Recently went to a summer breeze party hosted by Omega Psi Phi graduate chapter. The outside space had enough room for food trucks, stage for a band, three bar areas and vendors as well as a wonderful cigar station. Cool little clear lights hanging and plenty of room for the DJ after the live band. If you're looking for an outdoor space to host an event it's a good consideration. I'm just sayin...! I have been to events inside and it's just meh. Outside is the gem!

Kolping Center Affordable, nice option but beware In October 2017 we held my daughter's ceremony/reception at The Kolping Center's outdoor pavilion. The positives first. Highly affordable. Beautiful outdoor setting for a ceremony. Bistro lights in the trees. Pergola with a autiful new chandelier hanging above. Rustic romantic. Great outdoor patio for a cocktail reception. Pavilion is spacious (we had 225 guests ) and offers a lot if you have a great imagination. Food was excellent, especially for the price. Can't say enough about their baker, who created a magnificent donut tower! Now the cautions. Kolping is WAY understaffed and disorganized. From all the review of Beth I thought I'd landed the perfect DIY venue. However, simple things like cleaning the bathrooms cleaned and sweeping the patio and pavilion hadn't been done. We spent a lot of time cleaning before we could get started! The event coordinator also told me she was doing me a favor by renting more chairs so that all of our guests would have a seat for the ceremony. What?! This is something we had agreed to from the start. She actually thought some folks would be OK standing. After 6 hours of decorating, we thought everything would be set for the next day. We were told to arrive at 2 p.m. When we arrived, we were met with a glare and told we couldn't take photos in the "tavern" setting as originally planned. We talked her into letting us but then were told we couldn't have the wedding party hang out there until the ceremony (something else we had agreed to in advance). So, our wedding party just wandered around in the empty indoor ballroom but couldn't event sit because it was set up for an event for the next day. At 3 p.m. the guest tables still did not have linens. We had centerpieces, table numbers and favors to put on them but couldn't. We also had flower vases and pictures to place on tall-boy cocktail tables, the bar, the gift table, the head table and the donut table. None of this could be done until linens were set. The event planner kept telling me her staff was coming and not to worry...there was plenty of time. Finally, around 5:15 p.m. her staff showed up! But they had other jobs to do, like set up the buffet and bar and get china and silverware ready. So, one hour before the ceremony, our family was running around getting everything set up. Completely unacceptable! My daughter's name was misspelled on the marquee out front. Unacceptable. The bar was a disaster. One bartender was rude to our guests. He served tonic water instead of regular (and consequently ran out of tonic so no gin and tonics). We had paid for a full, premium bar. Within one hour we ran out of two wines, Jim Beam and the afore-mentioned tonic water. This was not because we had a bunch of drinkers--they simply hadn't stocked up. We had also been promised craft beers (we provided a list of our favorites) and their own German beers. There were no German beers that night and only one craft beer--one that was on our "no" list. As mother of the bride I should have been focusing on my daughter and her new husband. Instead I was running around (literally) pulling things together at the last minute. I sent two letters to Kolping with no response. Unless you don't care about details, I'd stay away. Their last-minute, nonchalant attitude will drive you crazy.

I've attended work picnics here a couple of times. The indoor space is very large and will hold a few hundred people at banquet tables. There is also an outdoor green space that is very large and a covered patio area. Lots of variety and room for your event, and it seems like it would be cost effective. Lots of parking spots and room for overflow parking. The bathrooms need to be remodeled and the place in general could use a full remodel and a good cleaning.

I was here for the Asian Fest. I like the picnic area, which is a wooded/shaded area. Awhile back I was here to help set up a wedding cake at the reception area inside. Not elegant at all, but it's pretty fair. I think this would be good for a reunions or special events.

I just got married there a couple of weeks ago. The hall looked amazing!!. My wife loved the brides dressing room. She said it was perfect for her to get ready in. We took some of our pictures on the grounds and they turned out great. The wait staff was amazing. I think her name was Silvia she made sure everything was perfectly set up to our liking. She made sure everything and everyone was were they needed to be right on time.

This place was great for the outside ceremony. But once we got inside it was horrible. The lights were on the entire ceremony. The host ripped a bottle of champagne out of my hand at the end of the night (maid of honor) because i wanted to keep it for the bride. One of the hosts stood at the end of the dance floor and WATCHED everyone and everything that happened and it was so uncomfortable. The hosts were very rude and i would definitely not recommend this place for a reception to anyone. Please don't make the same mistake we did. (Not to mention the bride left crying because she yelled at her for not leaving in time (10 mins late) )
