They are doing a soft opening right now. Still lots of things to work out but will definitely be back when they have their grand opening. Food was good. We got the meatloaf and bologna sandwich.

I'll start with the staff. Our waitress was SO sweet and nice. She really did go above and beyond for us. She lets us sample some of the desserts so we could choose what we wanted (we got it all lol) the food was just ok. We got the burgoo (amazing) the corn- way way over seasoned, like he went to add old bay and the top came off... the pork belly burnt ends were ok. They needed to be cooked a little longer to render all the fat. It really wasn't worth $31. The saving grace, besides the service, was that the desserts were SO good. I think the desserts are also overpriced for what they are. One red flag is that we were the only people in there for dinner the entire time and it was only around 7 pm. Probably won't go back. But shout out to our waitress!

Our first time trying the frontier kitchen was for the Sunday breakfast buffet. We went in around 11 am to us being the only people in there. The buffet was set up in a manner that reminded me of a church potluck. We were told that was the only thing they were offering but we were there for the buffet anyway. The food was absolutely delicious. A woman who I presume was the chef came out and introduced the choices to us. The smoked ham, sausage, French toast casserole, and Monte Cristo were our favorites. The restaurant was quiet and clean. Our server, who I assume was the owners daughter, told us they were in the works of getting fountain drinks so the only options were teas-which sounded very good, water, and coffee. We were the only ones in there until another couple came in, sat down, and promptly left. I wasn't sure why but it was upsetting because the food was really good and they genuinely missed out. The space is a little bare but you can tell they are working on getting it established. Our bill for two at the buffet ended up being almost $50. Come summer, I hope to see them with a pop machine and hopefully a liquor license as their dinner menu would be great served with a drink. I'm excited to go back and try their menu options.

My niece and her fiancé came up for dinner this afternoon. They wanted to eat here because they seen it on Facebook. We loaded up and headed downtown to find a closed restaurant. Granted there was a note on front door though with a broke pipe. She says she checked Facebook before leaving Lagrange and showed open and showed same thing while standing there. Another couple walked by with their dog and said they're getting known for this type behavior. Told her we'll just go to Mad Love its always good and it was tonight. I've tried to give this place a shot even with all their antics. They can take the time to make advertising videos harassing citizens that don't agree with them, local politicians or leave 5 star reviews but cant make a simple post stating closed tonight do to mechanical issues since that's their main platform for informing customers.Mark Hatson

My husband and I thought we'd try this restaurant after looking it up online. The restaurant had a distinct smell - not pleasant. I ordered the chicken tacos- they were okay but the chicken was a little burnt. My husband ordered a cup of the brisket chili. It was not hot enough to melt the cheese- the cornbread was cold. Both meals appeared to have been made 1-2 days before and re-heated. Cost of the meal was way too high for the quality. Probably explains why we were the only customers in the place for lunch. Would not go back.

I have never eaten there and never will. Please do stop in if you support business owners that harass the public on social media. It's horrible the Mayor and family had to get a restraining order for protection from harassment and slander. They even post business video advertisements on social media slamming several local citizens. Let your conscience be your guide. I do hear the food is usually good but I have seen them attack some that rate them less than par in bad reviews. Give this to you council.

Food was over priced. Service started good, then ill attentive, had to leave money on table due to server not returning. It was stuffy and musty (asthma suffer). Good luck, hope you have a better experience.

A tip was added to my bill before since we had 4 separate checks at our table. Then when I checked out I said no tip (since it had already been added). After leaving I checked my receipt and another tip was added. I wound up giving a 50% tip on a $23.00 burger that wasn't even warm. Forget trying to get someone's attention no where to be seen. This is a one and done visit.

Some of the best burnt ends I've ever had! All of my sides were so good too! Staff was friendly and helpful when I tried to pick what I wanted.

Had the catfish dinner last night. It was without question some of the best catfish I have had in my 65 years on planet earth. Thank the lord. It's not the fanciest place but by far one of the tastiest. If you are going for the food this is good stuff.
