The Forking Pierogi

Heard about this today, saw they were in town at Columbus Commons, got right down there. Columbus is lucky- the last decade or so has seen several pierogi places pop up, and stay. The pierogi themselves here are not quite as good as the best in town, but they're pretty good, and the toppings are great. There's only one kind of filling, the standard potato and cheese, but that classic combo is always good. I got the BAMF- bacon, asiago, truffle mayo, and green onions (forking onions?,) sided with a long skinny kielbasa. Mmm. Perfectly sauteed and the toppings are great.The other topping options range from standard sauteed onions and sour cream, to General Tso's I think, to corned beef and sauerkraut, Brussels sprouts, and more. I will keep an eye out for these folks and try the other varieties.

At Webers pumpkin festival I was excited to try. I got the O.G. And it was AMAZING! The kielbasa was tender and flavorful. The pierogi were fluffy and crispy and the sour cream was perfect. The onion were also delicious, and the mustard made it that much better. I will be an avid follower of this food truck. I can't wait to try other things on their menu. 10/10

I absolutely love this food truck. After having the Forking Pierogi evade me for months, the timing never worked for me, I have finally tasted it ... and let me tell you. It was delightful. I got the BAMF and my partner got the Wendy's without sour cream (because he's a monster) and I was seriously impressed. The service was excellent and they had it out very quickly which I appreciated. The pierogis themselves were flavorful and I loved the sausage that came with the BAMF. 10/10 recommend and I will be hunting them down the next time they are in Dayton.

I consider myself a pierogi snob and let me just say, these are 10/10. If this food truck is an option, no others are even worth looking at. The BAMF and the Wendy's = chefs kiss. The kielbasa with the BAMF. I just can't get enough. Here's a pic of the first time I had it - just beautiful presentation and we love a quick and efficient food truck.

OMG, the O.G was fantastic. Pierogies were awesome and the added value of the kielbasa and kraut..... I'll be hunting this truck next year

Fantastic food. I had the Wendy's with bacon and scallions, and it was so tasty. The pierogi we're perfectly crisp on there outside and soft one the inside. The unexpected topping added a new twist. Highly recommend.
