Cute shop in lovely Madison, IN. I was a little disappointed not to find any Irene Dunne-related items here, since she was from the area. I was ready to buy a little something to celebrate my visit there to honor her, but the merchandise here is more generic and not all that specific to the area. Nonetheless, the store was clean and had some cute items.

The Floating Cow has a great mix of gifts - really something for everyone. Jewelry, kids section, great card selection, hostess gifts, purses and Madison themed shirts and books. The owner, Marni, runs one of the most established businesses on Main Street - stop in and you'll quickly see why this shop has been a Madison favorite for years!

What a cool store! Very beautiful things wall to wall....I want them all! Like the name too, we really enjoy visiting each time we visit which is twice per year.

While it's the Chautauqua Art Festival that draws thousands to the quaint riverside town of Madison each autumn, it's businesses and proprietors of shops like The Floating Cow that invite visitors to make Madison a go-to place any time of year. The Floating Cow, in particular, is loaded with variety and charm.

Best place in Madison for gifts, fun jewelry, scarves, purses, lots more. Friendly, helpful staff.
