The Famous Restaurant

I absolutely love the Golden Nugget Chicken and Waffles so much that I unfortunately haven't tried anything else on the menu. The portion is large enough to have some leftovers for later (or as soon as you get home). The powdered sugar on top adds a special touch to a familiar classic.

Started with the Orange Dreamsicle cocktail and the bartender must have forgotten to stir it. Also ordered water with lemon but she forgot to bring the lemons. The dreamsicle was OK but only after giving it a good stir. The waitress never asked us if we wanted appetizers and went straight to ordering our mains. Ordered the Everything burger and the Fish & Chips. The burger was actually good but the potatoes were cold. The fish had good flavor but was soggy, especially on the bottom and the fries were stale and cold like the were microwaved leftovers from yesterday or lunch.

This restaurant is affiliated with Double days which has became one of our common go tos .. both have big portions. I always get the famous fried chicken salad with cherries and almonds. Omg yummm and enough for 2 people or 2 meals.

Had a great experience here. Shown is the boneless salad with barbecue chicken, the grilled boneless Buffalo wings and fries. Food was all good, service was great. The restaurant was neat and clean. Can get a bit loud if there's a lot of people. One tip would be to repair some of the seats. My seat had a huge tear right in the middle.

Haven't been in a while and decided to stop in with my husband and sister-in-law for some dinner before going to see Christmas lights. I wish I could remember the name of our server because he was incredibly friendly, had wonderful suggestions, and was an all-around nice guy. I had the chicken chili. My husband had fish and chips and my sister-in-law had. I think it was called the shipwreck. Our food was so good. That chili was incredible. Had white beans in it chicken no fat the sauce was incredibly yummy. Had a little bit of a spice to it, but not overpowering. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection according to my husband. And my sister-in-law ate her sandwich and said it was delicious. wasn't very busy we were seated quickly places kind of got a really cool vibe. You can watch sports if you want to or just sit and chat with your family and friends. I guess I had forgotten what a great little place. This was just down the street from where we live. We'll have to make it a point to return more often

Everything I've tried here has been terrific. But I'm a soup guy so I'm mainly here for one or more of their great soups. It's exciting to walk in and see which ones are listed. They've all been awesome.

First timer here, late to the party I know. But glad I finally made it! The food was great, definitely liking the lunch menu options for sure! The service was great, didn't feel rushed or pressured to order. It wasn't super busy but it was a steady flow. We had the lunch fish sandwich and the lunch soup & salad. Delicious, filling and a great price! Winning!!

This is a nice place to get food and drinks. Daily lunch specials and a number of beers on tap. Servers have been good when we've visited.

I have been here numerous times and it has been fabulous until today. They had an off day. We couldn't eat our nachos. It took close to 20 minutes for them to arrive at the table with our first round of drinks. You could tell they have been sitting in the window for a while. Cheese was burnt and chicken was dried out. Dinner was ok margaritas were delicious and our waiter was a young funny attentive gentleman with lots of jokes. Sorry can't remember his name. It's just disappointing but it was our date night but sometimes restaurants have an off day
