The Donut Hole By Milton's Donuts

It's just a 'hole in the wall' sized shop but has all the yummy favorites. The store may be easy to miss due to its size and being located in a small shopping strip. It's on the corner of state route 747 and Smith road. They're known for the fried cream cheese donut - which is a definite yummy treat. Service was quick even on a Saturday morning with a line.

Highly recommend! Stopped by here when my parents were in town because we (I) wanted to start the Donut Trail. The Donut Trail is basically a way of visiting 13 different donut shops all around Butler County. A great way to support local businesses and if you complete it (whether in one day or over a while), you can submit your "passport" to get a tshirt! As a donut lover, I was excited.We stopped in and the store is pretty bare (I'm assuming tables were taken out because of covid??), one worker seemed to be holding down the fort and he was very pleasant and helpful! We got our "passports" and scrumptious donuts. I tried the cherry glazed, my dad had an apple fritter, and I've forgotten what mom got. My donut was lighter and sweet. There's also an area of drinks and my dad grabbed a milk. Now wait for it... all of this was only $5 something!! A steal!We also met another customer who had family that had lived in the place that my parents live in Iowa. Definitely made it have a small town feel. I will be back!

New location!As a word of warning, this review was written based on my first visit to this location. Hopefully I will visit again and update it with a more positive review.It wasn't bad. In Butler County though, we do have the Butler County Donut Trail. You really need to shine to stand out in Butler County. We have a great selection of donut shops in our area.The bad part about this location is they are coming into the spot of what was probably one of the, if not the, best donut shops in our area. So, if you're expecting the same donuts and quality of the last shop that was in this location, unfortunately you're just not going to get it.When I first went in, my first thought was, "these guys are not ready to be open". The whole front end of the store was empty and bare. It didn't even look like they had a great selection of donuts. Something just felt really premature.The staff, very friendly. Nice guys. Seemed like they were doing a good job.The donuts themselves, not bad but unfortunately, not great.Would I go back? I absolutely plan on going back. I want to give this place a fair shot and I really, truly, hope to give them a better review. I had high hopes for this but unfortunately, my first go-around didn't work out the way I wished it would have.

I am so pleased that we have the Donut Hole in the West Chester area. They serve all the yummy donuts from Miltons in Middletown, so now I can get my Cream Horns without driving to Middletown or worring about being late, I can make it here in 10 minutes from my house.Okay so they don't have the yummy smells of fresh made donuts as they are brought in from Middletown, but they are still super fresh daily, so what more can you ask for. You walk in up to the counter and they greet you with a smile and and very pleasant. I will be a new weekly customer if nothing else for my need for cream horns. They make the best Cream horns ever. Not the buttercream filling, but a creamy smooth fluffy filling that makes you want to eat more than one.

Better Than The Donut Shop It Replaced IMHOI tried one of their donuts and it was pretty good. I had purchased one from the previous owner and never went back for another. Milton's has at least two other shops so they seem to have figured out the secret of success.

Donuts are great and the service is friendly and fast. My daughter and I love to stop in here!

To my surprise this location by Milton's is good. I tried the one in Middletown and was not impressed. However, I decided to give this one a try and was pleased. My husband and I initially thought it was the previous location, The Donut House. They closed and we thought they reopened. However, when I walked in and was talking to the guy working the counter, I found out this was a totally different donut company. He was very nice and patient. I took a few minutes to decide what I truly wanted. After a few minutes of being indecisive, I made my mind up. I ordered a regular donut with maple icing, a blackberry jelly filled donut, and he suggested the cream cheese filled donut. All three donuts were so good! They were tender but had the perfect chew. The jelly filled donut reminded me of a toaster strudel (yes the pillsbury ones). I actually really enjoy those. The jelly was also good and didn't taste artificial like other places. The maple icing was light and wasn't overpowering. The cream cheese filled was very good and different. The guy working mentioned it was their top seller, and I can see why. Overall, their donuts are good! I'm glad we got a good donut spot not far from where I live. This will be the donut go to spot.

The Donut Hole is 2 miles from my home I love this place! Their donuts are exquisite - get there early as they sell out fast! My favs are: coconut frosted; carmel nut frosted; huge puffy white powdered sugar; cherry frosted, and apple fritters. The fellow usually working there is very personable and kind. I leave delighted and in high anticipation of flicking open the box and making a first selection! Dr. RS

Oh Milton's- what happened to your donuts? They are noticeably downsized. My chocolate frosted donut this morning was sad. Scantily frosted and small. We've been Milton's customers for years and really anticipated your arrival to WC. It doesn't help that your predecessor made excellent donuts. Large, pillowy and well frosted, they were delicious. At one time, Milton's made the best donuts around. Try a little harder. We want you to suceed here!

Hands down the best donuts in town. My favorite are the glazed. I used to drive to Middletown to get Milton's donuts. I'm so glad that they finally brought the best donuts ever to Westchester! Please stop by. You won't be disappointed!!
