The Dinner Bell Restaurant

They serve Coke products always a plus with me. The prices are excellent. My mother said the salt was decent. It had lots of bacon bits on it. She said the onion rings were better than some. She's had lately. I enjoyed the little double cheeseburger much better than a White Castle Beef tasted very real. The fish triangle was pretty good quality and I enjoyed it. I also had the tenderloin which was season nicely and a pretty good size chunk of pork. Of course I have a soft spot for these very vintage type of diners. I would suggest anyone looking for something not too fancy but very affordable to pop in they don't really keep the hours. I'd like closing at two, but they did say they are open 4 to eight on Friday.

Loved this little hole in the wall restaurant. A simple menu and the locals flock to this place. I had the Dinner Bell Omelet, and the wife had the oatmeal. Both of us said the food and service were excellent. My coffee never cup got near empty. The menu has the basics, which is all that is needed. If you're in town and want a great breakfast, stop on in.

This is such a unique little diner! This type of dining experience is rare in todays world. I love their potato salad! The hamburgers are similar (In size) to a White Castle burger, so you may want to order two or three or a double burger.

This is a dirt cheap greasy spoon that's open for breakfast and lunch only (I don't understand why it's called The Dinner Bell). The menu is pretty limited (eggs, bacon, sausage, burgers, etc.) but reasonably priced. Burgers are about $2 each, but they're tiny so order at least 2. Sandwiches come with pickles and onions. Lettuce, tomato, and mayo cost extra.Fries and onion rings are straight out of a bag from the freezer.If you're in town and need a no-frills lunch for under $8 which is a step above fast food, this is the place to go.

The return of the Dinner Bell has been a wonderful thing. Gina has done a great job of keeping the classic favorites as well as adding some new and improved dishes. The daily plate lunches will leave you full and happy. The fried chicken is great! But dont forget to get a dozen burgers to go when you leave.

Casual cooking with loads of character inside the diner. Homemade cream of wheat was delicious, they make slow cooked oats too. Toast grilled on the griddle, omelet made with three eggs, all prepared as we watched from the bar stools and were easily identified as non locals, place was filled by 8a with locals, just the was a diner should be. Waitress ran the whole show for most of the time and was very friendly. Nothing fancy, just good.

Great small town diners are getting harder to find. This little gem is worth the stop. There are no surprises here, sit where there's an open table or seat at the counter, the menu is straight forward and the staff are friendly as can be. Our party had breakfast and everything we had was delicious and prices are cheap. If you don't see it in the menu I'm sure the staff can make it if they're able to. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area. Ask about the "Big Nasty" if you're looking for a big burger to fill you up, it's not on the menu.

Although the hamburgers are small like White Castle, they are so much better. They are straight from the grill to you. The staff works together as a unit and is very pleasant. I recommend DINNER BELL RESTAURANT TO ANYONE IN THE AREA OR WILLING TO DRIVE FOR A TERRIFIC HOME COOKED MEAL.

Depending on who is working the food is good, they had messed up my order twice and my food was cold once.

Very good food and convenient hours. Staff friendly. Clean place. Small restaurant good for breakfast and lunch.
