The Cookieologist

I went here for the first time last night. Small, family owned. They share space with Slide Thru which is also excellent. Super friendly, hot, fresh, made to order cookies. I got chocolate chip, lemon blueberry white chocolate, and Mexican chocolate. Can't ask for better. I demolished 2 and saved 2 for today. Try them, you won't be sorry.

My blue dream cookie didn't even make it home. It was AMAZING. Parking is easy here and i was greeted as soon as I walked in. I ordered two cookies and two slices of pepperoni focaccia pizza. Everything was amazing and I would come back in a heartbeat. You should try this spot!! Great prices too.

Watch for this place on the Food Network someday--no joke. How is this in Englewood? I feel like I'm in NYC. The Cookieologist is the real deal--scratch gourmet cookies, pizza-like-art, and sliders that after only a month and change post-opening, are getting people talking. Our pizza-by-the-slice was sumptuous and generous--shockingly beautiful. In fact--THE most beautiful slice these well-traveled eyes have ever seen. This is not pizza it's an experience. The cookies are NOT willing to take second place--they hold their own. Solid gourmand. Luxuriously heavy. So many varieties it hurts to choose! They're made fresh and it shows. Owner Isiah Davis creates passion, love, and spirit on a plate you'd be a fool to miss. Don't let this opportunity pass you by--you now know where to go (this is why you came to Yelp, right) -- Get some! You're welcome.

The cookies are very good so we came back for the pizza. Pizza and umami bread are different - like that they use thick focaccia bread. Pepperonis were small though. Overall, we struggled to understand the rave of the pizzas. Umami bread was tasty but very hard and chewy when eaten after ordering but even more so the next day with rewarming. We had to toss it which was sad!

Fantastic place to pick up some dessert. Cookies are a little pricey at about $11 for three but I will definitely be back. Chef Zay is a genius with his cookie flavors and combinations. The first time coming here we weren't sure how it worked and so we ended up having to wait the 20-something minutes outside so definitely make sure and order ahead online. The wait is absolutely worth it though for freshly baked cookies every time. Customer service was excellent, and Chef Zay let us preview his new cookie for the week while we waited and included a free bottle of nut milk. It was divine. I recommend this place to everyone and will be returning soon.

Couldn't find Slide Thru on Yelp but I remembered the man behind the counter told us Cookieologist!! Cookieologist is now in my algorithm after telling people about this delightful restaurant My fiancé and I have been meaning to try this place out. Today we did it! It's a cute little place attached to an ice cream shop. Unrelated so go through the street side; dinner before dessert! We ordered 4 different sliders and when the chef came out we laughed about how it must be annoying that I ordered one of each but he was gracious and lovely. These sliders are SUBSTANTIAL. With lovely buns and the take out boxes were even impressive. The regular beef slider was our favorite and the close second was the Buffalo chicken. We also got the beignet bites ...A beautiful little basket of bite sized fried dough. ***chef kiss**I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get a tray of slides and a tray of beignet to my tailgates in the fall!Thanks guys!!!!!!!

These cookies are so freaking good. Some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend trying the Busta-Nut cookie. I ordered using door dash. They arrived fresh from the oven.

They have beautiful quite service or this place is booming. The pizza is crunchy and is actually seasoned to perfection and personally the blue dream cookie is my favorite it's soft and gooey topped with fresh blueberries lemon zest and white chocolate chips. The pizza is cooked to perfection and has fresh basil on top nice and crunchy and warm. Top with your favorite beverage. It's a perfect lunch or dinner for one or for the family.

Was excited to try, have been wanting a non-chain pizza place in Englewood. However, I was very disappointed. The crust was burned and just didn't taste good and most of the toppings were on the inside of the lid of the box. Barely any sauce on the pizza. Used a cheat day from doing Keto to try this place and I wasted it. The cookies were good but that was it. I won't be ordering here again.

We online ordered the Notorious C.H.I.P. and S'mores Baked cookies for pickup. They were ready at the estimated time and fresh out of the oven (the box was still warm!). They were DELICIOUS. I'll be back, and I highly recommend you go, too!
