This is an ok cookie shop. It's not really anything special but would make for a nice cookie cake for a kids birthday.

The worst customer service experience I have had in 2018!I was wanting to get something special for my son who was having his sixth birthday that evening. Called in to the store around 1pm after looking over the Website to get ideas of what I would like. Woman answers the phone and was very monotone and just short with me from the beginning of the call. I had in mind getting a 16" round cookie cake.Me: Can I place an order on short notice for a cookie cakeHer: It will take an hourMe: oh that is fine, I won't be picking it up till about 5-6pmHer: what do you wantMe: I don't mean to be difficult, but is it possible to get two different kinds of cookie in one cookie, ie half and half.Her: It will take longer Me: can I get chocolate chip for half and white macadamia nut on the other half Her: NOMe: okay......, just chocolate chip would be fineHer: what do you want on it?Me: Can you all put Mario on the top of it(on the Website)Her: NO, what do you want it to sayMe: Well, I kind of wanted to have some kind of picture/character on itHer: Maybe you should look at our website and call back when you looked it over.Me: I have your website in front of me right now and am staring at a cookie cake with Mario on it.Her: What do you want it to SAY?Me: ok just put Happy Birthday S...Her: Spell It(before I could even say my son's name)Me: May I finish my sentence before you cut me off(she had been stepping on me the whole call)Me: (I spelled out my son's name) Now I would like to get your namesilenceHer: what for?Me: I would like your name because you have been extremely rude to me on this call. I would like to get your nameHer: that's not relevantMe: I would like to speak with your managerHer: There is no manager hereMe: Then I'll just take your nameshe then hangs up on meI then wrote my experience to Corporate on their website. Now I had just bought a couple cookies from this place within the last two weeks for my son and daughter when we were shopping in the mall, but I will never buy anything from this place again because of the experience with this woman over the phone

This sweet shop isn't found in the food court of the Eastgate Mall with all of the other eateries. No, The Cookie Store and Auntie Anne's Pretzels are positioned so shoppers don't have trek all the way to the food court to grab a quick bite. The Cookies Store lives up to its name, selling fabulous little disks in just about every shape and flavor. Snickerdoodle, sugar, chocolate, macadamia nut, peanut butter, M&M, and more were available in jumbo and regular sizes. I went with a gourmet Heath bar chunk cookie, which I thought was too expensive for its size ($1.19). However, once I bit into it I realized why they were charging a premium. Chewy cookie was complemented with the crunchy bits of toffee and milk chocolate. I savored every high-calorie, high-fat bite. The Cookie Store also offers freshly squeezed lemonade, orangeade, and limeade. Next time I visit, I'll try a juicy drink to wash down my gourmet cookie.

They are having an Ice-cream float sale, server had it leaking all over the place, no spoon, a waste of 3.99.

As Karina said, and unchanged 8 years later, this small shop is located in the corridor in the middle of Eastgate Mall that runs from the center towards SearsThe cookies are very good, albeit a bit pricier than they should be, and they almost always have a wide variety on hand. I see lots of folks picking up pie-sized cookies for special events almost every time I am there One beverage they have here that you won't find anywhere else in the mall (well, pretty sure you wont) is my childhood favorite, the Icee. After a wonderful meal of teriyaki chicken at Yihi Japan in the food court, I like to stroll back here for a small but satisfying dessert Recommended
