The Casual Pint - Hamilton

Stopped in for a late lunch and a beer flight. Had the beer cheese burger, shared the mac n cheese bites and my daughter had the Rueben. The mac n cheese bites were stellar! Her Rueben was good, the burger was decent. I was happy with a varied and interesting tap list. There were lots of regional beers from Dayton to Lexington. Also a good selection of beer to go, the single can prices I thought a bit high. Overall, I would return. The food was out quick and the bartender brought it over and was generally helpful and pleasant.

Fun place to spend outside on a nice evening. There was live music and they were rather busy on a Saturday evening. We didn't order food but had a couple of beers. Which they have a large selection of draft beers from various local breweries. They also offer some canned beers.

While the Casual Pint does have some positives, overall, it was just OK. The high tops and regular seating were fine, but nothing special. Parking gets packed quickly, making parking hard to find near the establishment. Placing an order at the counter was a bit of a letdown. It felt like a very impersonal experience and lacked the personal touch that a sit-down waiter/waitress would provide. It would be nice to get the food and drink recommendations from the staff. When I asked, they didn't offer much help. She shrugged her shoulders. They do have a lot of different beers. I expected to find some rare or lesser-known brews, but instead found a lot of the same ol' same ol'. I wish they had more cider options. The food was the most disappointing part of the visit. While they do offer food options, it was basic at best - nothing to write home about.The only redeeming quality of my visit was the trivia. It was moderately entertaining, but it did not save the night. Overall, I would say that Casual Pint is decent for a casual night out with friends, but I was expecting more. I might come back for trivia night with a group of friends, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it.

Barely so-so. This is nothing more than a carry out that you can eat-in at. Do not expect a customer service (it was nonexistent) and the only reason it's even getting 2 starts is because they do a have a decent amount of variety of adult beverages.

Looked promising from afar... inedible up close. Impossible to enjoy.I got the bacon, egg, and cheese flatbread and was disappointed. My sister got the "burger" (approximating hockey puck) and could not finish it.

Beer selection great. Food not so good. Tasted like microwave from frozen, even the burger. Clientele were having a good time laughing. Have some outside seating along the road.

The entire menu looks fabulous. Great beers and super fun and friendly atmosphere. We especially love the cheese steak flatbread and the salmon salad. Ann Marie treats her customers like friends!

We have given this establishment several chances hoping things would turnaround. Sadly it has stayed the same with the manager who is rude and short. It is not welcoming and the food is so-so. The beer selection is diverse and no complaints there. The last time we were there, we were waiting for our tab. All of the staff and manager were standing listening to the TV. Politely trying to get their attention the manager notices and gives us a look like we're are children and said to just wait a minute. The manager is what brings this place down. Thankfully Pour House, Municipal and 2nd st bottle and tap are around.

It's a fun little place. The feel is warm and welcoming. Tablets are spaced out nicely. We've been a few time over the last month or two. Great variety of beers with color coded selections which help decide what to try. I also enjoy the food! They have a good variety of stuff but also not too big of a menu to be overwhelming. Staff is knowledgeable and kind and always seem to be having a good time.

The service was great and the selection of beers on tap is vast. We were there on a Saturday for lunch and the place was packed. The food was a good value. We look forward to going back to watch some football games there.
