Was in town for a wedding. The ceremony and reception were held here. I believe it was an old library of some sort but they have it fixed up really nice. It's in a neighborhood with a few small restaurants around. There were abt 100 people and to me tht was abt max but their site says 200 which would be tough unless they utilize both sides. The food was outstanding. See the attached menu pic. I had the brazed short rib entree. After dinner and the customary first couple of dances the DJ took over. It got a little loud for me but everyone seemed to be having a great time. I'm not from here but if you are and are I need check them out.

We rented this place for our son's wedding. It is such a cool older building. Since his fiancé is a big book person, having the wedding in the library was a great thing. Jeff handled everything and was so organized and had so many suggestions and options for place settings and decorations. They have a caterer which was some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding. With two rooms, we were able to have the ceremony and then a cocktail hour while they set up for dinner and then dinner and dancing for the rest of the night. With such a beautiful backdrop, it made for an incredible evening. The wedding planner, included kept things moving. The servers and bartenders were so friendly and did their jobs well. It made an incredible night even that much better.

We went here for a wedding and I had to say I like how it looked on the outside but I think the venue itself was a little small for the amount of people that were invited. I did really enjoy the look of the place and had fun but the dance floor was way too small and this was the first wedding I have been to where you couldn't pick your meal. Otherwise I did enjoy the food but it was definitely strange. I think this would be a perfect wedding venue for a smaller wedding (under 100).

My wife and I got married earlier in the year at the Catholic Church right next to the Carnegie Center. We reached out to the Carnegie Center to reserve their space to take pictures with our wedding party after the ceremony since it was still cold outside. Even though it was very difficult to get ahold of someone at their offices, they emailed us back a couple weeks before the date and said we can use the space for our pictures. We were obviously excited and relying on using that space as we had a big wedding party and it was snowing outside so we wanted to be inside. But when the day came we went across the street for pictures and no one was there and the doors were locked. I attempted many times to reach out and get ahold of someone at the Center and even the Church administrator tried to get ahold of someone from Carnegie, but to no avail. Our whole wedding party ended up taking our wedding pictures outside in 30 degree weather with light snow coming down as we were relying on using their indoor space. It is extremely frustrating. If the Carnegie Center did not want us to use their space I would certainly understand and respect their wishes. But we were relying on them to keep their word and we were left in a really hard situation scrambling last minute on our wedding day. I waited to post this review because I wanted to give a chance to the Carnegie Center to respond to my follow up emails hoping to get an explanation, but never heard back. Obviously if there was a mistake or something happened I would understand. But we certainly felt left out to dry on a pretty big day in our lives, hence the one star review.
