I like the Candy Emporium. Spacious, fun things to browse. The shop wasn't overly stuffed with merchandise, making it easy to move around. You'll find candy including: today's favorites PEZ), retro/vintage/candy of yesteryear (think Chuckles), chocolate counter (buy by the pound or buy just a few pieces like it I did), and lots of tchotchkes and novelty items. Big assortment of teas and teapots. This was the only candy shop we visited, so I'm not sure how it compares to others. No fudge. I did see that advertised at a shop across the street.Great customer service from the women working the day we visited. I think we left spending around $15. 4/5 starts because my coconut haystacks and cashew cluster were pretty stale.Recommend.

Great selection of "real" licorice. More than twenty different varieties. On this trip, I got the Scottie Dogs and Carmela Sticks. Pricing around $10 per pound. Not bad considering all the licorice choices.

In my head I was hearing the theme to Willy Wonka as I walked through The Candy Emporium with my family. This place was awesome! There were so many different kinds of delicious candies. There were some candies that brought me back to my childhood. They also had freshly made chocolates. This is more than a candy shop. Yes, the majority of the store is candy, but they offer a lot of neat unique gifts.

The kids picked up some candy from the Emporium today. Lots of great and nostalgic options to make everyone in your family smile.

This was a lovely stop in Nashville, my wife and I visited on our honeymoon and we loved it. The staff was very warm and welcoming even though they were close to closing time. They had quite a variety of candy and options some of which I haven't seen since I was a kid so nostalgia definitely set in. Definitely will be back next year!

This is a much larger shop than the two others on the block, but each has its strengths. I was impressed that they had a whole wall full of licorice of all kinds by the pound. Given I'm not such a fan, I went with dark chocolate malt balls (many other varieties available) I think at $6/lb and grabbed a Brownie Cow Tales, along with Goetze's brownie and caramel creams (recently introduced to us via Halloween trick-or-treating.). Prices seem low here two, $.50 for the Cow Tales and $1 bags for the brownie and caramel creams.

Candy heaven! The homemade caramels are my favorite and they have a huge selection of candy, tea and little kitchen related items. Their selection of black licorice is the largest I have ever seen. The only thing is the prices are a little high and many of the things you can find in Bloomington for cheaper. However, there are a lot of novelty candy options that aren't easy to find. It is nice for a quick stop in for a piece of candy or two while you're walking around town.

The Candy Emporium had a lot of candy, tea, and even stroop waffles! MMM!! The people running the shop were very hospitable and when I went to check out, they spent a few minutes talking to me. We had a great conversation and I left asking myself the question, "Why aren't more people like that?" Definitely a good place to stop for a retro candy shop experience in the small town of Nashville, Indiana!

Not bad selection, still not as good as my childhood candy stores growing up. But still best in the area from what I can tell. My kids loved it, 4 stars only due to price was a little high.
