The Alley Neighborhood Grille

Have been patronizing Ally 21 for at least 10 years . Over the years, the service and quality has had its uos and downs.Our last visit to the Ally was a great surprise! The quality of service and food has jumped significantly! Our steaks were perfectly grilled. The sides we ordered were served hot and fresh. We also enjoyed an Old Fashioned bourbon from the bar. Excellently crafted, with one solid round clear ice cube. Perfectly mixed with a generous amount of bourbon. The Ally has stepped up its game significantly from mediocre service of the past. Kudos to the management and all the employees who have worked very hard to improve the Ally!! Hat off to you all and great job!

We absolutely love this restaurant. They use some of the best locally raised beef for all of their steaks and burgers. They are so amazing. Is that all that's good here? NOOO!!! We haven't found a single thing that they serve that isn't absolutely delicious. AND it's attached to a huge bowling alley where you can watch the people bowl while you eat. It's so much fun. The people who work there are the nicest people around and the wait staff if so attentive. You really should go check this place out.

I am updating my review. This is one of the best restaurants in this town. The food is delicous. I love the loaded baked potato as I order it every time. I like the side salads and the grilled chicken.

The variety of flavor layerings that they have on the menu is extensive. For example, you made fear the peanut butter and jelly hamburger, but in reality when you combine it with the 8 ounce steak patty, it is an absolutely sublime burger. The alley double is a version of a Frisch'e big boy but everything is perfect and so it takes it from a six to a 10 because it is the right amount of meat with a much better bread, and most of all a much better quality of tartar sauce, and other combinations of flavor that make it kick assAnd then when you have people like Teresa Quinn (like the Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman... but much more beautiful) that are waiting on you at the bar with such an upbeat, enthusiastic and loving approach plus it doesn't hurt but she's pretty as hell...and with all that it really makes for a great experience.

While out wandering around Southwest Ohio, we found ourselves in Hillsboro...and began the hunt for a place to eat. We found the Alley and thought we would give it a go. They have garage doors that lets the outside in and plenty of sports showing on the flat screens.The wait staff are fast, friendly and attentive. We had the loaded nachos as a stater and as nachos go, these were pretty darn good. Packed full of yummy stuff without being too sloppy (I don't need any help in the sloppy department). I ordered the Flamethrower burger....loaded with fries...loaded (so predictable). This is not a burger to be triffled with. The name CLEARLY says it all. The burger is hand pattied and broiled perfectly. The other nice thing is that the "hot" doesn't overpower the flavors. But make no mistake, it is hot! Overall, this was a very enjoyable place to eat. So, if you find yourself in Hillsboro, make this your stop.

Ambiance wasn't bad and the service was very good. The food was typical bar food and probably wouldn't try it again. Not a wower!

Very fun restaurant connected to the bowling alley. Family friendly but still has a bar area separate with KENO. Great food! Great service! Definitely will be coming back when I'm in town!

Shout out to LeAnn. We had a pretty big group and the service was fantastic. Food was great!

food was nasty and the manager Roxy brunk had a bad attitude, was very unprofessional and walked away from us. I will never be back!!!
