Thai Village in CornerstoneFollowing a delightful performance of A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical at the Schuster, we elected to dine at Thai Village in Cornerstone.Delightful dining experience, and we highly recommend. The former Core Life has been remodeled into an elegant small dining area with a spirits, wine, and beer menu. Our delightful Server, Benz is of Thai and Laos ancestry, and came to Dayton to continue a relationship.Expect an extend Thai menu, and we both selected Drunken Noodle -Wide rice noodle, basil, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, baby corn, basil leaves, bamboo shoot, Thai chili paste; she with chicken and he with shrimp.Arguably, Thai Village in Cornerstone is the nicest Thai dining in the Greater Dayton Metropolitan Area. Our sights are set on the whole fried fish.Great Date Night with Your Wife Experience.

Thai Village gave a great first impression when I visited. The interior was open and welcoming and the waitress was quick in dropping off the food. I ordered the sampler for an appetizer which has rangoons, egg rolls, wings, and gyoza, with soy sauce and thai chili sauce on the side. It came out hot and crispy. Everything tasted good. I ordered the beef pho soup and was so happy it came out great (the pho soups I've eaten in other restaurants haven't been good lately). The beef was tender, the broth was flavorful, and the noodles were very soft. The waitress was great in checking in on us, helping us order from the menu, and refilling our drinks. I also tried the drunken noodle entree with chicken and enjoyed how tender the chicken was.In summary, the food was great. The service was great. The place was clean for the most part. I'd advise wiping the booth seats before sitting (saw crumbs and hair on the seat). Other than that, I definitely plan on coming back to try more food from the menu. Highly recommend it!

First thing I noticed was how nice the atmosphere is. They decorated with earth tones and greenery, well done! We went on a Tuesday evening and were seated immediately, they were not busy (it was around 8pm). My fiancée has a severe allergy to gluten and soy but absolutely loves Thai food...he has to be very careful ordering. The menu doesn't state ingredients and the language barrier made us a little nervous in regards to the soy content. In the end, I ordered spring rolls (good but nothing special) and mango pork fried rice...delicious!! The fried rice was perfectly spiced and the portion was big enough for two meals! My dude got a spicy tuna roll (he said it beat Kabuki!) and a chicken curry dish. It was a nice dining experience, we will definitely go back.

Was really excited to try this new Thai restaurant! It did not disappoint! Inside is really nice with lovely decor. Our waitress was really nice. The menu had many dishes to choose from. I ordered the drunken noodles and really liked them. We also ordered some appetizers that were delicious. My dad ordered the curry and said it was so flavorful. We had a lovely dinner and want to come back to try other things!

Food and ambiance were great!! They have a "wonky" 4 top that needs fixed or replaced so check that your table is stable, my date and delicios Red Curry kept me distracted from the wobbly table.

Tried this place out and I'm glad I did. It was so good! Food came out quick and service was great! The place was not that busy during peak lunch hour but I'm sure it will get busier once the word gets out. The restaurant is very nice and clean. We ordered chicken satay, fresh roll, chicken drunken noodle, garlic pepper chicken and mango sticky rice. The mango sticky rice came out really warm and the mango was hot. That's the only thing I can complain about. I prefer it be more room temp.

This was a soft opening, but based on what I've seen so far, I'm excited. It's a beautiful restaurant. Great attention to detail. Dishes, decorations, silverware etc were nicely done. I was literally their first customer so it's hard to rate the level of service. My experience was, they were attentive, friendly, and seemed to really be excited about being part of a new restaurant. Obviously the menu choices were limited for a soft opening, so I stuck with classic dishes. Pad Thai, Thai iced tea and a fresh roll. I had the lunch portion, but I thought it was generous. The food was great and it would be hard for me to come up with a complaint. I can't wait to try other dishes.

Uhhhh side of rice. More like 1/3 side of rice. This stinks big time. Definitely not enough rice to go with a big bowl of curry.

Food isn't bad but service is awful. I was one of two tables at the restaurant and it took 10 minutes for someone to take a drink order. Then they brought me the wrong food. I I was so hungry after waiting so long for my food. I just said I'd eat what they brought me instead of the soup that I ordered. No one came around to fill my water or check on my meal and when it was time for the bill I had to get out of my seat and ask someone for it. Inexcusable. Ambiance is nice and it's clean

I'll start with the good. The food was good and would eat it again. Sadly, that's where it ends. The service is awful! Took us 10 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. We went ahead and ordered while we were at it. We ordered all waters. Took another 10 minutes to get our waters. Then it took 45 minutes or more for our food to come out. Meanwhile there were no refills on our waters. We asked for the check as soon as we were served our food. That may have saved us another 20 minutes. The food does not make this place worth the wait. I'd recommend finding another Thai place.
