Terry B's Tavern

Stopped in with a friend for a drink and appetizers. Heard the saratoga chips were good but ours were on the edge of burnt, couldn't eat more than a few. Nachos were so loaded down the chips were soggie. Ordered a shot of whiskey, tasted watered down. Not sure I'm willing to give this place another try.

Not a bad place, nice little tavern with a great selection of drinks. (I recommend the sex on the beach) Everything they use for their food and drinks is fresh and tasty. Atmosphere was great as well, the music was mostly country though not too diverse. Karaoke night was fun and wow some people will make your jaw drop when they sing.

Terry B's is a new tavern on the west side of Hamilton. It's not a big place, and the owner is sociable and does his best to keep his customers happy. There isn't a lot of seating/tables in the place, and if the band is popular, you may end up standing through the night (I did). If you want a drink, it seems you have to go up to the bar, no waiter/waitress service (maybe it was just because it was a busy Friday). The good news is, the drinks are on the cheap side. I was paying $3 or so for a pint of Sam Adam's.If smoke bothers you, you may want to know that people smoke in this bar despite the ban. As compared to Kentucky bars, it's nothing overwhelming, but it is there.The other thing to note is that Terry B's seems to draw an older crowd. If you're 21 and out for your first drinking binge, you won't be shunned, but this is probably not the crowd you're looking for. When I was there, it seemed most folks were in their 40's and up.I got a chance to talk with Terry B while I was there. Really nice guy, really enjoyed the place. He seems to be trying to create a place that the locals will go to. I will go back again.

Just moved to Hamilton. My husband and I love to prefer to go to local neighborhood establishments. We were excited about visiting and trying Terry B's Tavern out to establish a new favorite spot to go to! We walked out over an hour later, totally disappointed. We placed an order for two simple straight-up menu items. (Quesadillas and a sandwich). AFTER WAITING 45 mins, we asked what was the status? AFTER AN HOUR LATER ... we paid our bill for 2 drinks and walked out. The bar WAS NOT BUSY. No one else was eating (if was after 10pm). The Bar Attendant stated she was alone with one kitchen helper. If you cannot accommodate after hours food, close the kitchen! Don't disrespect your guests having to wait over an hour for food. We could have literally gone to the grocery, cooked and served our simple meal in that amount of time. We will not be returning, for we want to support small businesses and neighborhood eateries/bars that have their act together and consider customer service as their top priority.

The prices are way to high for a local dive bar. and they charge a surcharge for using credit cards. It feels like they are trying to nickel and dime you every chance they get.

Will never step foot in this dive. Terry allows his bartenders to manipulate your bill. They will rob you blind. Food is horrible. You can keep this entire mess of a place.

Great atmosphere, friendly people and the bartender is great!! They also have food the pizza was delicious!

I wouldn't touch this place with a ten foot pole! Last night a friend of mine visited this bar. He was called racial slurs and threatened. When he approached the owner to let them know of the incident he was subsequently kicked out. According to others this isn't the first racial incident they have either. They have a history of kicking patrons out over minor things. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Expected a fun, casual night out on the town but when I arrived to Terry B's, it quickly came to me that this place seemed like nothing more than a place for ladies of the night. I didn't like that Terry B has a wife but is dating his bar waitress, she's not only a horrible waitress but is also probably among the dumbest in Hamilton. Definitely wouldn't recommend nor will I be returning. Would give 0 stars if I could.
