I love that this is both a store & an eatery. Perfect for lunch or as a quick meal. They have items & ingredients to take & make (wine, pasta, olive oils, cheeses, etc.) and also make fresh paninis & cheese plates. Very friendly, great service. A cute ambiance & vibe! Worth stopping in while you're exploring the other local spots in town.

We stopped in for sandwiches at my parents' suggestion. This place is amazing! I haven't had sandwich this good in years.

Taste on Elm has been an actual lifesaver for me. Going back to the early days of the pandemic, when everyone else was out of eggs, Taste had farm-fresh eggs. The wine selection is absolutely killer, with no filler. And they always have new products in, so it really pays to be a regular. The owner is also a delight and a real support to her community.

What a charming place to dine or shop! I'm from out of town and my friend brought me here. We had a lovely lunch and I am intrigued by the unique offerings.

How have I not reviewed Taste on Elm? Better yet... how has NO ONE ELSE reviewed Taste on Elm yet? This little specialty grocer is just another reason why Ludlow is such a little badass of a town. You heard it from me first... Ludlow Kentucky is ENTIRELY underrated. This small charming little store has so many great items and an equally sweet owner who was quick to make great recommendations. The prices are on the higher end, but so are the products. Just walk in knowing that you're probably going to drop at least $30 on few delicious treats for yourself. That's the beauty of the items sold here too... they all felt like such a treat. One of my favorites were the pickle flavored peanuts I ended up buying. There's a great wine selection and some delicious looking cheese to round out a great wine night. If you're popping over to a night with friends, this would be a great stop to pick up some wine and a treat to bring. I can't wait to have an excuse to come back to Taste on Elm soon!

Charming restaurant in Ludlow. Very friendly with a nice selection of sandwiches for lunch. They also sell wine, many GF items that are locally made, and some gift items as well. Small seating area is bright and welcoming! The sandwich I ordered was fine. I prefer a hot sandwich to be hot all the way through. I find it to be disappointing to have a nice warm panini and then bite into a cold center. It was served with a very small side of greens with balsamic. I also had a glass of wine which was very disappointing for $11. The pour was weak, barely a half of a small glass and the wine was unremarkable, more like a sparkling cider. I enjoyed my time at Taste on Elm, but sadly, I'm undecided if I'll return due to the lack of value. I expected more for a $22 lunch.

This has become my favorite neighborhood shop! I stop in at least once a week to pick up my favorite cheese (Prairie Breeze) and ask for a wine recommendation. I've tried so many new delicious wines and cheeses that I'm addicted. They also have tasty paninis! I feel so welcome every time I stop in!

Our daughter gave us a charcuterie board and wine from Taste on Elm. They were both absolutely delicious. The board presentation was beautiful. Will definitely get something there again!
