Taqueria Morales

Made the trek from Bloomington to Seymour to check out Taqueria Morales. Glad we did! Thanks to Yelp, not hard to find, behind the Morales Grocery store. Small building, maybe six tables. They had some tables blocked off to allow for social distancing. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and she was masked. The menu is posted on the wall. By far the best burrito I have had since moving to Indiana from California four years ago. I ordered the carne asada and my partner ordered the burrito with no meat. We also ordered the jicama and horchata. We took our order to go and ate at a shaded picnic table in Shield's Park. The steak in my burrito was very tasty. The burrito was big, California style, no weird cheese poured over it. The horchata was tasty too. Not the best I have ever had but still good. They put two types of salsa in our order, green and red. Both of them VERY hot. A little goes a long way. My partner enjoyed her burrito too. They had run out of rice, and she said it would have been better with rice, but it was a good veggie burrito. Highly recommend Taqueria Morales!

Wowzaa. The salsas are worth the visit. No sparing the authenticityAl pastor tacos, yummy! Flavorful. The tacos itself probably needed less oil on them, which means, watch out of it are conscious about it Service is good. The restaurant is at the back if you enter from the roadside so it gets confusing. But once in, service is good, fast!Definitely an authentic experience all around

Some of the best Mexican/So American cuisine in Seymour. Smells great in the dinning room. Lovely staff, clean facilities and welcoming.

Service was great and friendly, restaurant was nice and clean, food was awesome. Best Al Pastor tacos I've had in a long time.

Morales has been serving up authentic home cooked Mexican food for quite some time. If you want some tasty street tacos, this is the place to go. They're the best!

Man, I love Yelp. Taqueria Morales is a major reason why.I drive from Kentucky to Indiana several times a year. I often stop in Seymour for lunch. Without Yelp, I'd never know that Taqueria Morales even existed. It's hidden behind a Mexican Super Market a few miles off the interstate. You've got to seek it out. But your perseverance will be rewarded.My kids both got steak tacos. They were super fresh and seasoned, and the lime juice took the flavor over the top. But as great as they are, I've got to write about the burritos. The burritos are perhaps the best I've ever had. They are absolutely fantastic, and they're HUGE. We shared a steak burrito and spicy pork (pastor) burrito. They are tasty, unique, incredible gifts from the cook. I can't even tell you what makes them unique. I wasn't paying attention to what I was eating. I was enjoying it too much. You've got to get over here and try one. The sooner the better.

Pretty good. Very authentic Mexican. Prices are about the same as anywhere else. I had Chicken enchiladas they were perfect not too bland like some of the others around town

Doesn't look like much from the outside.... but it was the best burrito I've had since leaving Southern California. Polite employees. Quick service. Amazing food!

Food is good...prices are ridiculous! Three burritos one with beans and rice and an order of chorizo with cheese.
