From my understanding, the truck just reopened for the season and that's why I'm not rating any lower. We called ahead as recommended and they just about talked us out of ordering. After letting them know we were ok waiting 30 minutes for the food to be ready, my husband got there 10 minutes AFTER the time it was supposed to be ready. He waited at a closed window for over 5 minutes to be told "there's a large order ahead of you, wait over there" and he didn't get food until 30 minutes after the time was it was supposed to be ready. They didn't apologize or acknowledge the long wait which was what really bothered us in our experience. We waited for months to finally figure out their schedule (it was really hard to tell when they were open) and were very excited to try it. Now we are hesitant to return. The Birria tacos were very good, we would love to eat them again. The elote was outstanding and I would say if they have it that day it's a must order. The Torta was inedible for us, but we are very aware that it might be personal preference. The bread had too thick of a crust and made it a very dry sandwich but we haven't had Torta before and that might be how it's intended. I really hope the next time they have elote we can order and get it in a reasonable amount of time.

Good Tex-max style food. Takes about ten minutes to receive your food after you order but is made to order. Currently, the truck is placed in a gravel lot with a lot of picnic tables with umbrellas. There is rarely a line at this food truck and the food is quite delicious. There is street parking all around and the menu pricing ranges from $6 to $10 per meal.

So happy to have another authentic Mexican eatery in NKY! The food comes out hot and made to order and everything I have tried is delicious. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. The only thing I would change is they should list their hours of operation online. From the signage on the truck (last time I looked), they are open Wednesday thru Sunday. Google says 7 days a week. Yelp and Facebook don't have hours listed. If I was one of the lucky people who lives in walking distance, I'd be there almost as many days as they are open each week!
