Well, we came back and ate here years later and it was mediocre. We shared the bread basket, which was great. I had the caesar salad with shrimp on top of it. For over $20 it was not awesome. I think it had five shrimp on top of it, pretty overpriced upcharge. The server was decent and actually removed one entree from our table's bill because it was way overdone. The large party sitting behind us had numerous issues and food removed from their bill. Very nice looking restaurant, but with all of the competition in the area, they need to put out a better product.

My husband & I decided to return to Tano for dinner since we only got to stop in for an app & drinks last time. It's perfect for a nice little date night. Our server was pleasant & checked on us a fair amount. I sipped on a Ginger Pear Martini (12 pear vodka + canton + triple sec + lime + crystalized ginger), which I enjoyed. Not overly sweet, just right. It seems their menu may be seasonal - we didn't see the lemon blueberry ricotta we had last time, which was insanely good. Instead we enjoyed the Crab Cake as our appetizer. It was only one cake for $16, but it was very good & had a nice amount of crunch to it.For dinner I had the Stuffed Salmon ($31 - crab, bacon & brie stuffing + mashed potatoes + asparagus + lemon buerre blanc). It had a nice balance of savory & richness that I really enjoyed. My husband had the Braised Short Rib ($39 - buffalo burrata + campanelle pasta pomodoro + toast points + shaved pecorino). This dish was absolutely phenomenal & I may have stolen a bite or three The meat was extremely tender, the pasta was cooked perfectly, & the sauce was so incredibly flavorful. The portions were perfect as we were both able to share the appetizer, finish our meals, & share a dessert. For dessert we had the Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée with mixed berries. It had the perfect crunch from the caramelized sugar & the creaminess underneath was delicious. The tart blueberries & blackberries added another exciting layer of flavor. Definitely a must if you can save some room!

My wife's birthday, so Tano's is the place to go. With a party of 6, we were served upstairs. The place was packed. We had a 6:30 reservation. We 3 arrived at 6:25, but the remaining 3 didn't arrive until 6:40. We were seated quickly, but it wasn't until 7 for us to have our orders taken. We didn't get our food until closer to 8, but it was great. The lamb was delicious. When it came to dessert, my grandson and daughter-in-law wanted the strawberry bread pudding, as did I, but the restaurant only had one left. I gave it to my youngers and knew they made the right choice.

We visited this restaurant again and it is going down hill. The service was again confused and spotty. The server forgot to bring us 2 drinks that were ordered and had to be reminded. Our appetizer was the ricotta and honey which was delicious! Dip was incredible and my stepmom said she wanted the recipe. The portion was conservative. My sister, dad, and stepmom all ordered the "mad Thai" entree for $22. I got the stuffed salmon. My dish was good, but again was portioned very conservatively. For $31, why are you only giving me 2 asparagus pieces as one of the listed sides? Why are you giving me a half scoop of mashed potatoes? Come on.. people notice these things. The unholy terror was the "mad Thai" dish everyone else ordered. I tried a bite of it, it tasted like slimy spicy mush. The owner/chef probably spent $2 on ingredient costs putting that disaster together, yet has the nerve to charge $22 for it. Raw veggies, overcooked mushy rice noodles. I got lucky, my dish was the shining star, but my company just wanted to leave and pick up a pizza. They sent all 3 dishes back and said they were disgusting. I've never seen that happen in a restaurant before. The server was gracious and took those 3 disasters off the check and tried to see if we wanted to try something else. My party did not and wanted to graciously get the check and leave. Our last visit was pretty good with their "taste of Tano" menu. Good value for money and food quality was strong. We were told that menu isn't offered on Saturdays. If you all continue to cut corners on portion sizes and concoct culinary disasters like your "mad Thai" I can't see this place doing well in the future.

Ordered the paella which is one of the most expensive items on the menu. It was a major disappointment. Three muscles. Three shrimp. The sausage was razor thin. The chicken was rubbery. Rice is the main component of paella. They obviously use a cheap minute rice. The rice did not taste anything like a Spanish rice. Very gummy and poorly cooked. The overall portion was very small. I've ordered paella at many restaurants thru the years. This one was the worst. Overall service and atmosphere are great. Parking is not so easy if you have mobility issues.
