We get take out from here. To me it's the best Indian food in town. It's always hot, brimming with layers of delicious flavor/spices and just the best cozy comfort food. Everyone there is so friendly, and they have never gotten our order wrong. My favorites are vegetable samosas and chicken saag spicy level 4!! And of course the nan. Mmm mmm.

It's hard for me to pass up a good Indian restaurant, especially when it's cold outside, and you feel like warming up with a good spicy curry. It's even better when your boss is paying the bill. Though even if that wasn't the case, I'd enjoy this spot, another reason Anderson Township, especially on Beechmont, has so much to offer.My boss and I went on a Thursday for lunch. The place itself was very clean and had lots of seating. Their menu is loaded with plenty of tasty options that span the gambit of Indian food. They also have a buffet there wasn't a way to tell when the buffet runs. We started with some samosas, two vegetable and two keema (spiced beef). They came with three different sauces. Both were very delicious, especially the vegetable, and the green sauce had a great spicy kick. For our mains, we ordered a chicken tikka saag (my favorite Indian dish) and shrimp masala, along with some garlic naan. Their spice level is from 1 to 6 and we ordered both dishes at a 4. We didn't wait that long before everything was ready. All of it was very good, especially the chicken tikka saag. It was thicker than many places I've had it before. The masala was excellent too. They definitely didn't skimp on the garlic on the naan which was very light and airy. I'll admit, it's a tad pricier than most Indian restaurants, but it's very good and worth it.I could absolutely see going here again, especially with my lady, because I'm sure she'd like it too. You can definitely get your curry in a hurry here.

Fast friendly service and fantastic chicken Tikka Masala. Spice level 4 was the bomb. Plus they gave me some authentic Indian chia tea while I was waiting for me guest to arrive. Go here you will NOT be disappointed.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Cincinnati. I took my parents here tonight and they, too, can't stop talking about it. The food and the service were great!

This is the best Indian I've ever had! And it was a late night order coming from Uber eats still hot and fresh, so this is so impressive. I can't wait to come in and meet the ppl who made this incredible chicken saag and everything else. Wow. major praises to this place, it will be my new weekly go to. Couldn't recommend it enough

Temporarily closed due to a fire accident on May 5.Was looking to try this place out. Hopefully they will be back open soon

Sadly Taj just isn't what it used to be. The buffet is gone, seemingly forever, despite still appearing in promotional material and online. Beware! In its place is an expensive lunch service with dinner-looking prices for lunch-sized portions. Sauces are very thin, too.Service could be better. They ran a loud vacuum right next to us while we were eating.This used to be a great, reliable go-to lunch spot. Now it's just not even in the running. Hope the buffet comes back.

Got it carry out for lunch and I thought it was pretty good. I ordered a 3 on the spicy and it was definitely spicy but again, I thought it was a really good.

My favorite Indian spot in all of Cincinnati! Trust me with the vindaloo and chicken masala!
