Fun place where you walk up to order and can sit inside or out. Very easy. One of the fun things I liked was a serve yourself salsa bar - you do have to pay for this but it's like $2 and you get a good amount of chips and options/variety of salsas you can bring to your table.I also got the Torta pollo and it was a little underwhelming. The flavor was lacking, I think it needed a little something more, I used my salsa to add some flavor. It was also smaller than expected.Other than that I hear the tacos are great so would like to try those in the future!

This location is in a shared plaza with a parking lot. There was some live music playing on the walk to the restaurant. We must have come just after a rush as there were dirty tables and drinks and dishes at the small bar area. It is a bit pricey as the tacos are a la carte. The guacamole was probably my favorite item we ordered. The black beans were good but reminded me more of a soup. I had the steak, shrimp and carnitas tacos. I think the steak was the best of the three. The food was a bit bland for me. The service was good but for the price I wouldn't come back.

This taco bar is a way to get a little more upscale taqueria experience. It does have some casual aspects in that you order at the counter and there's also a serve-yourself salsa bar, but the food itself is more upscale. All the taco options are packed with flavor and can be served on flour tortilla, corn tortilla, tostada, or lettuce wrap. Vegetarian options available too. They do tend to have a spicy kick though, so pay attention to the ingredients on each when ordering. Also, I highly recommend the corn for a side (nice and loaded with seasonings and cotija cheese) and a fresh salad. One watchout is that this place isn't quite fot for a big group as it is a bit more limited in seating inside. If the weather is nice though there is a great patio outside.

My husband and I met some friends at Tahona Taqueria & Tequila Bar for an early dinner one evening this week. We loved the ambiance when we entered the restaurant. I don't know if I expected to order and pay at the counter, but the space still felt upscale. There is a little salsa bar in the center of the dining room so you can grab whichever salsas you want if you order chips and salsa- which we did. It was good, but not great. We also ordered several tacos. I had the fish and the shrimp. Both were good, but a bit sweeter than I anticipated. Would totally still eat them again though. We sat on the back patio. My only complaint is that the bugs were terrible; a bug light might be helpful!

Another Tex Mex in Cincy. Overall Tahona was enjoyable and matched the vibe of a restaurant in a park with its simple no frills menu that gave me Midwest TexMex nostalgia with its "walking taco". It was decently priced with speedy service gave me backyard picnic vibes. --- Drinks - I had the signature Tahona and it did not disappointed. The ginger syrup and cucumber concoction was balanced spirit forward cocktail that was not overly sweet. My friend had the mango margarita and expressed it was average. Average Tequila offerings BONUS was the Mezcal--- Food - Simple no frills menu gave me Midwest TexMex nostalgia with its "walking taco" offering and taco, tostada, salad, and torta offerings. Nothing especially compelling with it's side offerings. Flavors were on par with expectations with the exception of the "spicy" chicken tinga which was a -2 in the spicy level. We had the steak fajita, shrimp, and spicy chicken tinga with a side of black beans, queso and chips. --- Seating - I was surprised at the limited indoor seating and expansive outdoors seating. Ohio is good for outdoor seating about 6 months out the year and another 1.5 months of questionable weather in early fall and spring. --- Ambiance - Indoors was loud and crowded given the 90+ degrees and humid conditions of early August, so we opted to sit outside. There were 6 or so umbrellas for nearly 20-ish tables. So unless your under the tented area or lucky enough to snag an umbrella you're in the sun. Fast casual dining with table service after you order indoor. --- Service - As with most fast casual dining interaction with the staff is limited and quick. We had no issues with ordering or getting our food within a timely manner. The orders were correct and tasty enough and delivered without issue, although we did get our food before we got our drinks.

We met cousins here for a drink and some tacos. First of all delicious margaritas I had a flight with peach mango pomegranate and regular. We also orders the pineapple guacamole mind blowing. I had a fish taco my hubby had steak tacos and my sister had blackened mahi mahi and street corn. All were very yummy. So the one downfall I don't like having to order myself and then they bring it out to you. Everytime we had go inside and order a drink.

I've been staying in Cincy area for a work assignment, and I'm vegetarian. Every evening I look for a different cuisine and a place that's veggie friendly. Cue Tahona. It wasn't far away from me by driving. Looked like a good website and menu. The Tahona restaurant is "place your order, take a number, and we'll bring it to you" kind of place. There's a round table with different salsas for you to select along with some hot sauces. Free water spout. I ordered the Torta Honga (V), side of black beans, chips and guac, and the spicy House Margarita.Yeah, it was a lot. But, I ran a 10K and was feeling generous to myself. Service was fast and friendly. I paid around $30 (with tip). Considering all I ordered along with the margarita, not bad. I loved the torta. The mushrooms were juicy, and there was chock full of flavor. The chips are just amazing. They're served like long strips. Not salty. The side of black beans was also delicious. The cheese on top was more like seasoning, but I liked the beans. Inside was busy but not crazy. I went to the Blue Ash location, which was in some nice shopping/multi use complex. Parking was readily available.10/10 would recommend.

A nice taco joint at Summit Park, Tahona is quality. The shrimp and mahi mahi were bursting with flavor and were reasonably priced. The queso and guac were also solid and complemented the meal well. The casual vibe was inviting as well. Tahona overall is a reliable place to stop by in an up and coming area.

This a great quick service, casual option while at Summit Park. Is it an amazing meal? No. But it's a solid choice at an affordable price. My meal was about $20 before tip for 2 tacos, a hour margarita, and a side of rice. It's a quick counter service with plenty of outdoor seating and a perfect spot to meet friends for a drink and chips/queso/or guac on a beautiful day!Service was fast and friendly! Best bites of the day were the shrimp taco, queso and chips, and side of tahona corn. I'd pass on the steak fajita taco (greasy, fatty, and no peppers/ onions present. Super bummer). The margarita flight was fun and we'd recommend!

Stopped here because we have been fans of other Looking Glass Group restaurants. Food was bland overall. I got the Mahi and chicken tacos. The chicken was very bland, added salsa for flavor. Mahi was slightly better but still underwhelming. My husband had the carnitas and steak, felt both were bland. The corn side was very good- definitely a high light of the meal. The tomatillo and chipotle salsas were pretty good, the tomato and spicy ones weee bland. It was also disappointing that the margaritas were syrupy - if you are going to call yourself a taco and tequila bar at least use real juice. The service was fast and friendly. The food came fast and the tables around us were bused quickly.
