Taft's Brewpourium

Tafts Brewporium is a nice chill brewery/bar on Spring Grove Ave in the St. Bernard area. I have come here many times after work for happy hours. They also host many events throughout the week. The space was MUCH bigger in the past and they had shuffle board, darts, corn hole etc for you to enjoy which I really loved. I like to be able to chat and move around and play games at happy hours. It was always fun to have some competitions. However, after closing their OTR location, all of that has gone to make space for the stuff they had there. I do wish they bring it back as that was part of the vibes of this warehouse space. Even if it's outdoors.They do trivia, used to have comedy shows (which have since stopped when they expanded the warehouse/cooler spaces), they have tasting events and craft nights with various vendors and small businesses. They have done floral art agin classes, wreathe making, paint and sips, etc...One of the more recent ones I went to was a cookie and beer pairing event for Halloween. They sold tickets through Eventbrite and you got a 4 flight of beers and a cookie to pair with it. They have specials during the week including Wing and essay where you can get all the wings you want for $1 each. You have to order at least 6 but there's no max. You can get them in different sauces/flavors as well. The Tricia nights are on Thursdays starting at 7pm and they have $5 pint pours during trivia. The HH special is also $2 off all apps.The food here is amazing. The pizzas are delicious, the wings are saucy and fresh, the fried pickles hit the spot, and even the salads are flavorful and filling. I also love the loaded tots but eat them fast as they get cold real quick with the toppings. I don't think I've had any food here that I don't like.The beers are also varietal and different. It's one of my fav breweries in Cincinnati. They have a lot of balanced flavors and light/dark vs most breweries now have all flavor in IPAs. They have a few sours/fruit beers but also serve wine and seltzers in a can. My favorite beer is the Coffee Blonde and Kolsch, Nellie's orange creamsicle ale, the Summer Sun witbeer, and the Frisch's Pumpkin Pie ale. The one thing I wish they'd get a hold of is the temperature inside. In the summer it gets REALLY hot and is uncomfortable when you're drinking and eating. Winters are better but even then it's nice and cool outside but a bit stuffy inside, especially if you come in a sweater. I almost have to plan an outfit with layers if I know I'm coming here. Thanks Tafts for providing us entertainment and fun and filling our bellies while we do it! I look forward to continuing to come here.

We have tried Taft's a handful of times for some of their events but while those are kinda fun, we never seem to find a beer that we like, let alone LOVE.

Visit here often and always have an overall good time. The place is able to be open air which is nice, however sometimes this means it is HOT; I do not think that they have AC so just plan accordingly in the warmer months! They have many beer options, as well as some wine and seltzer options if you are GF. 99% of the food is not GF, but you can get the loaded tots with the beer cheese on the side (assuming is a shared fryer). I have been here for private parties, happy hours, and just for drinks - this place is able to meet your needs for your event which is great. It is nice that this exists in the St. Bernard area for locals and also not too far from the highway if you are visiting! With the OTR location closing, I reccomend checking this spot out!

We frequent this location a lot and love the beer and pizza and tots. Gavel Banger is among my favorite IPAs. The bartenders are always nice and I like the environment. Unfortunately, they decreased their space a lot, so it is not as relaxing as it used to be.

Fun (though very hot) night painting pottery at Taft's. Wide selection of beer on tap and their pizza was a tasty surprise. It's a big open area in a warehouse building so it was very warm the night we went. It would be a nicer experience once the weather cools down. It's easily accessible from the highway/downtown Cincinnati. The trains are very noisy but ‍

Great location for happy hours with coworkers! The place is great ambiance. The service was fantastic and the appetizers we great.

Did a trivia night and was definitely a success. Nice little brewery with good food and good drinks. Service was nice and fast and most workers had a smile on there face. Definitely looking forward to going back and doing another trivia night with my coworkers

The stone-fired pizza is light, and with just a touch of char for the perfect balance. This brewery has a lot of open space and seating for groups or just to grab a drink after work. On this occasion I ordered the seasonal beet salad which was the perfect accompaniment and more than enough if you wanted to share. The ingredients were all fresh and local. Will definitely be back and if you have little ones or friends who may not indulge in beer, they have a handful of arcade games and golden tee to keep everyone entertained.

They have really good beers. Gavel banger for the IPA fans and Worlds Best Boss coffee porter . Don't be a stooge... give your wife the evening off ... bring the kids get them a root beer and you get a real beer.... Get a pizza and let the kids play on their game shuffleboard tables . Parking on site.

Got to take some friends here about a week ago. Still didn't disappoint. Great beer. Great wood fired pizza! And I got to try the wings which were awesome!! Top level there. In fact you got a star rating boost for the wings (but I forgot a picture because I was busy eating )See you again.
