Taco House

The food was authentic, tasty and price was fair. Now the details. From the outside, there's not really parking spots, the setup is kinda sketchy, the floors and seating are questionably unsafe, but that's usually how you know the foods gonna be good. Service seemed like it was only one lady running the truck so props to her, we got a couple steak tacos and a churizo one, there's a 2 taco, beans and rice combo. Rice was meh, beans were alright, tacos were pretty solid, little dry, but the topping bar made up for that. Plenty of sauce and toppings for your stuff.Overall, food is a solid bet. Cheap price, I'd fix up the front of the location a little and make it more accessible and I think you have a good business on your hands. Might come back.

This is my favorite taco spot in the area. Good selection, good prices, and you can order ahead online (with a small convenience fee). I really like the cabeza and the Al pastor, but you really can't go wrong. I'm looking forward to trying more!

I continued my taco truck trek and ventured to Taco House on Fields-Ertel Road. It's on the south side of the road and there's plenty of parking. Went with my hubby, and we both enjoyed our lunch :). I ordered two shrimp tacos, plus a chicken tamale. Hubby also ordered two tacos, but went with one shrimp and one carne asada (steak), and also got a tamale. They don't have chips, but I ordered a side of frijoles anyway since we were headed home and had chips at home. Total was $22. They have tables and chairs to dine at, and they have a semi-enclosed area with a condiment bar. Our tacos came with the corn tortillas topped with the protein. We used to condiment bar to add sliced radishes, chopped white onion, and cilantro. There also were lime wedges, chopped tomato, jalapeños, shredded cheese, and small containers of red and green salsa. There was also a creamy white taco sauce in a squeeze bottle that my husband used. Maybe mayo based? We both thoroughly enjoyed our tacos and tamales! The tamales' masa had just the right denseness. We both topped ours with the green chile salsa. Perfect together. Overall, a satisfying, delicious lunch.

The food is good. Tacos were okay, nothing special. But the lengua and cabeza in their burritos were flavorful. Too bad the service was bad. The server was kinda rude, answered our questions about the food with one word sentences. The price on the menu were scratched so no way for us to consider the price of each food beforehand

We ordered delivery through Grubhub 2hrs+ before close. Received messages confirming order and that it was being prepared. 20 minutes later received message apologizing that the order had been canceled with no explanation. Also saying taco house would refund in 3-5 days! WTF?! You can take my money in an instant but can't return it for 3-5 days?! *After some time to reflect I've realized this is probably on the Grubhub side and most likely has nothing to do with Taco House.

Amazing food, I have no experience of the true Mexican taco but my friend at work who is from Mexico said this is some of the best he's had since he's came here so I'd say it's got to be close lol.

Salsa Roja on point! Loved the condiment bar to top my fish, pastor and chorizo tacos. This is a food truck with some out door seating. We will be back!

Great food and a nice, outdoor atmosphere. The self serve toppings are always fresh and make it so easy to customize your food. Nothing to say about the service, it is a food truck after all. They just take your order and give change. But this is overall my favorite taco place probably ever.

All foods are delicious ...I love their tacos especially the shrimp tacos mm yummy...the chefs and the service is very nice..they cook very fast .

The fact that this place has a standing five star review for so long is incredible. The food here is terrible. Sure it used to be good, but I live next door and have seen the food dramatically decline. For the past couple years the food has been pretty bad, and the service too. Tamales were the last to go. Last bunch I purchased were a roll of corn meal with virtually no filling and we waited 30mins for them. Wish this place was as good as when they started. I'd pay more to bring that quality back.
