Sweets & Meats BBQ Catering

I had the opportunity to try Sweets and Meats for the first time at the Xavier game. They are a new vendor this year in Duff's Food Hall in the banquet room at Cintas for basketball games. We arrived right as the game was starting and they were out of the pulled pork sandwiches, so we chose the pulled chicken instead! I think this was the best shredded chicken sandwich I have ever had! The chicken was SO flavorful, even without barbecue sauce. The buns were also super sweet and fluffy, and perfectly soaked up the juices from the sandwich to round out the flavor. We will certainly be back for future games too!

This restaurant is so good its being featured in a Super Bowl commercial Their food is awesome. Always moist and tender brisket. Support your local restaurants.

Everything was great and the service was awesome they were friendly and very tasty. Would definitely use them again. Kymberly SpencerWas definitely happy with the food but don't leave them with your credit card account info for they charged a fee for a tip without calling me first, then emailed to tell me they did so. Grant it I thought it was paid and would have taken care of it but to just charge my account on file is not cool. What if I wanted to use a different card?

Food was good but administrative team lacks integrity. Had I placed a review for this business in the past I would have given 5 stars, but an incident occurred that they were at fault for. A contract was signed and there was an error in billing. No contact was made about the error and the business decided to modify the signed contract without notifying me. After making the modification, they opted to take their payment from the card on file. When I attempted to pay them with a different form of payment on the pickup day, I was told my account was complete. After further review, I discovered the credit card charge that was higher than the contractual amount. I reached out to the business using one of the phone numbers they had used to contact me in the past and no response was given. I filed a dispute via AMEX for the difference of the balance and the business reached out a month later with an abundance of questions. I addressed the questions but didn't include attachments. The owner was adamant that no errors had been made on their part. I responded with the initial signed contract, refuted that no calls had been made but an email thanking me for my payment and no response to my inquiry. Had the company just called me to discuss the error, not taken an unauthorized payment form my corporate card and owned their mistake all would be well. Now things are not. On top of this they mentioned another event, that I was affiliated with and how payment was not received. Yet failed to mention that grace was given for the payment and when the other group attempted payment the drop off was cancelled due to the owner being sick. Let's also mention the food truck was about 45 minutes late for the other event. A little integrity goes a long way!

Simply a great local BBQ joint. It's clear that they're using their own homemade recipes and taking care to make everything perfection.I tried the pulled chicken, which was incredibly juicy, tender, and well seasoned. So often I find that pulled chicken is dry and flavorless, so this was a great relief. It hardly even needed the sauce!The mac and cheese really stole the show though. The noodles were the perfect al dente, and I could tell they used fresh cheese when I got that beautiful stringy cheese pull. Way better than mac and cheese you sometimes find elsewhere that tastes more processedI'll be back to try more!

I'm a little late in writing this review . . but better late than never I guess. I ordered a smoked turkey from here for Thanksgiving & from the ordering process to picking up to reheating - everything was a breeze! I am not usually a fan of turkey but this turkey was juicy and had the perfect BBQ smoked flavor! - I would definitly order again & everyone in my family loved it! hThis was my first time ordering from here and when I was picking up the turkey I will say the mac&cheese looked bombtastic! I will probably make this my new Thanksgiving tradition every year!

Stopped in the new restaurant near Children's Hospital to check it out during their "soft opening." Comfortable spot for a tasty lunch. Had pulled pork and a hamburger, both were VERY tasty, hot and fresh. Could make a meal of just their sides, seriously! Friendly service, clearly aiming to please. Just open for lunch right now 11-4, but soon will be full service. This will become a regular spot for us when choosing to eat out. Plenty of free, easy parking nearby and a cute patio for outdoor dining when it cools off. Highly recommend!

Great food and great people awesome food trucks and we're on time and ready for our wedding guest. They are very helpful with anything you may have questions on or accomodations with food.

The Sweets & Meats BBQ team showed up on time with smiles on their faces! The food was displayed beautifully with careful consideration at every step. Not to mention, it tasted delicious! We hosted about 150 guests and had plenty of food. The process from start to finish was very positive.
