Sweet Petit Desserts

I had been wanting to try out Sweet Petite ever since Yelp introduced me to the bakery during quarantine with a virtual oatmeal cookie baking class. I finally made it there last week and it was so so gooood. I ordered the oatmeal creme pies because I wanted to try the real deal and it was so worth it. If you love the packaged snack, these taste similar but obviously even better because they are fresher, I'd be willing to guess are at least somewhat healthier and have even more cream in the middle. I also got a dozen of the cake pops and my nephews ate almost all of them with a 24 hour period. Sweet petite: Adults love it and kid approved! *also note worthy, I am not a baker but successfully baked cookies via the Yelp baking class that were delicious which I credit solely to the excellent instruction by Taren! When classes are available I highly recommend them!

For years I've been wanting to visit Sweet Petit. Every time I stopped by, they were closed. Also, My Mr. and I work out at the same gym with the owner's husband. He gave me her card and I've held on to it and kept it in mind.On a Saturday afternoon, my Mr brought it up and wanted to take my mom there. As we entered, who do we see? The owners husband! He was so down to earth and helpful. Especially with my mom.Loved the simple selections they had in store. Not too overwhelming. Everything was just baked! This tiny shop was decorated nicely as well.We only spent 14.00 and we got a variety of sweets.-Mini Lemon Cupcakes topped with Blueberry-Mini Lemon Cupcake topped with coconut -Mini Brownie-Mini Strawberry Cupcake-Mini Double Chocolate Cupcake-Mini Vanilla and Strawberry Macaron-Velvet creme cookiesWhat I love about their products is that they are all bite size so you can try it all. The cupcakes were moist and not super sweet. It was hard to choose my favorite.Like he described it... my wife made these desserts with love... I believe it!If you haven't stopped by, you must! You will not be disappointed.

When you're having such a craving, I highly recommend a stop by Sweet Petit Desserts.Located just a scone's throw from Washington Park, Sweet Petit specializes in desserts just the right size to satisfy any sweet tooth. From cake pops to cupcakes to macarons to cookies and more all fresh made in house. I highly recommend trying the velvet cream cookies and blueberry frosted lemon cupcakes. And all at sweet prices.So, next time you're craving a little something sweet, stop on by Sweet Petit Desserts. Your sweet tooth will thank you.

Found this local dessert shop due to Yelp, and I must say I am impressed!The employee, assume store owner was super sweet and accommodating. She ensured that I knew what I was purchasing. Also, you could tell that she took great pride in her creations. I purchased a variety of different desserts. Each one was cooked perfectly, and they all were super delicious! We purchased some as a gift as well, and everyone who had one enjoyed them as well!Do yourself a favor, and support this local bakery. They are amazing and it won't disappoint.

Honestly I would give SPD 3.5 stars but since that's not an option I have to give 3. I stopped by SPD on a whim after coming from Pokè Hut. I had been wanting to try them for awhile and finally happen to stumble upon its location. Upon walking in I was greeted by the owner, Taren, who was talking to two other ladies. I can honestly say Taren was superrr sweet. Her and I talked for about 45-min - 1 hr. She is a super sweet lady.However, when it comes to the desserts they are decent but I wouldn't pick coming to SPD over other locations in Cincy. There are plenty of bakeries that make the same kind of desserts that I would prefer. I do like the concept of small bites as it's a way to indulge and not feel like your over indulging. It's also a good idea for different party occasions (i.e. weddings, birthdays, showers, etc.). I tried the Red Velvet Cookie Sandwich, Lemon Bar, Oatmeal Creme Pie, Strawberry Cupcake, and a Brownie. Each dessert was decent. My favorite out of the four was the Lemon Bar. Their selection is also small. I would say they have about 7-8 items to choose from or that's what it was the day I went. Overall, SPD is a cute shop with a good concept of small bites.

You know how you try something and then you want it every single day for the rest of your life? Enter Sweet Petit Desserts! I have convinced myself because they're bite sized I can burn off the calories walking back and forth to my car, but honestly these delicacies are worth every calorie. What brought me in was the partnership with Helene's Ice Cream and these incredible ice cream sandwiches. The rum raisin ice cream and oatmeal cookie pairing is like a little bite sized piece of heaven in your mouth. Like if I was on death row, I'd ask for one of these as my last dessert. The strawberry cupcake and red velvet cookie were also really good and I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the case. The owner was friendly and went out of her way to make me an ice cream sandwich when they technically only serve them on the weekend so I will be back. Don't walk, run and try this place!

How have I not written this review yet? Taren Kinebrew's small storefront is a must-visit. Sweet Petit desserts is a bakery with the concept of small bite-sized desserts so you can satisfy your sweet tooth without all the guilt. My weak sense of self-control tests me here. It's all fun and games sampling desserts until you've eaten 8 bite-size treats in a row.When Taren recommended the brownies, I followed her lead and took some home. They look like normal unassuming brownies. What I didn't expect was how soft and gooey and chocolatey they would be. I could have had ten of these without batting an eye. These little treats are delicious and I can't wait until I have an excuse to venture back.

I recently discovered this place through Groupon and I was very excited to try it out. I'm a big fan of cupcakes and I really enjoy exploring the many different places downtown. I'd heard that this place was a woman-minority-owned businesses, so I wanted to go and show extra support for that reason as well. Sweet Petite is located in an inviting area, just a couple of blocks from Washington Park! Inside, the store is nice and clean. The owner was very nice and quick to greet me. I'd ordered one dozen cupcakes with my Groupon. They were mini ones though, not full-sized. Hence the name 'Sweet Petite'. They give you an assortment of flavors without you choosing. They were quite delicious! I especially loved the vanilla/buttercream & lemon/blueberry cupcakes. I was not disappointed I will be making a return.

Not being able to stand the thought of having wasted slices of cake at my wedding, I knew mini desserts were the way to go. There were some places that had some mini cupcakes or mini brownies, but Sweet Petit Desserts had an assortment of mini desserts that were all equally delicious. I went to visit the Sweet Petit Desserts, and met Taren who is the kindest person! She took the time to walk me through what she had, how she made her desserts and answered all of my questions in detail. She was honest with me about how many I needed and didn't try to up-sell or oversell me on anything. She let me try an assortment of desserts - mini brownies, lemon bars, cake pops, and multiple flavors of mini cupcakes. Every single thing I tried was exquisite. Her brownies were a crowd favorite! One other perk that completely sold me on Sweet Petit Desserts was having a mini cake for my husband and me to cut. She made us a very simple cake that fit our theme and was delicious along with her other desserts! Taren is the best and her desserts are reasonably priced! I highly recommend calling her for any event where you need a a sweet treat!

The desserts I purchased were all great! Just enough. Everyone was nice - positive energy.
