Very nice park featuring a good range of amenities - there are plenty of sports fields (baseball, sand volleyball, tennis courts - and we saw some people playing pickleball there too - soccer, and basketball. The pretty Todd Pond offers a nice place to sit and relax and also allows fishing. A couple of shelter houses and a gazebo, with picnic tables, are available. The playground area is great - swings, slides, climbing structures, seesaw, and more. A paved walking trail winds through the park. A clean restroom is available, and there are two paved parking lots available on either side.

Swaim Park has something for everybody!! There's children's playground, a basketball court, volleyball court, baseball field, and soccer field. I believe the baseball and soccer fields are combined. There's also a walking path and two ponds. I've seen people fishing at the pond, but I don't know if they've ever caught anything. There are also bathrooms and water fountains with lower bowls for our canine friends. There are two parking lots. The larger one is off Cooper and near the baseball field. The smaller one is off Zigzag. Love that many of the trees have plaques that describe them!

This park is great for running or relaxing. There is a path that starts near the parking area and goes around the pond, then winds up near the playground and over a bridge. Some days I see how many laps I can fast-walk in an hour, and other times I find a bench near the water and get mindless! The grounds are always well-maintained with a beautiful variety of scrubs and trees. Most of the trees have been planted in honor of someone, and his/her name and the species is on a brick at the base of each tree. There are also a few gazebos which are nice for picnics and parties.

I have passed by this park before and decided to stop there this week-end. Whoever designed this park is a genius because it's truly not that big, but it has something for absolutely everybody. It is clear that it is always well-maintained and for anybody wanting to take their dog along there are stations reminding people to clean up after their pets and bags in case you forgot. Plus, my adorable dog, Sammers, appreciated the drinking fountains just for them! In the beginning, we started walking around a path that circles a nice pond in front of a spacious and pretty gazebo. Then we followed a walkway that led us over a bridge and back around. On that stroll, we went past baseball fields, tennis courts, sand volleyball, basketball, a playground, 2 large shelters, a huge fire pit and a nice little creek. If you prefer to take in these peaceful surroundings while sitting, there are benches all around. As we were leaving, we noticed a lodge building and a 2-story house. I was curious so I did a little research. Turns out this is a historic farmhouse where you can schedule tours and events during the year. Also, there is a garden club that maintains an heirloom garden in it's backyard. All this in the winter; I can't wait to see what it looks like when everything is in bloom.

I love this park. I live within walking distance and I used to come here all the time when I was little. It is always in very good condition. It has lakes to walk around and a cool little playground. An all-around great park. I sometimes go for a run around there now and I still see many small people playing there. I occasionally play tennis there, but you can't always get a court. A nice place for young kids or a picnic on a nice warm day. Check it out!

This park was so charming and pretty! It was completely empty since it's raining and cold, but I took a short walk to a geocache and loved it.

Swaim Park is another great park in Montgomery, not far from Downtown Montgomery, but also close to Blue Ash. It is maybe the best in the area for a picnic, as it has two picnic shelters and plenty to do for people of all ages. When I was younger, my family attended a few Fourth of July and Labor Day picnics here.In addition to the shelters there are two baseball fields and two tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, a soccer field, two horseshoe pits (do people actually play that?), and of course a playground and "tot lot." There is also the "picturesque" Todd Pond (including geese and the occasional) along Cooper Road, which has a fountain in the middle and a gazebo behind. Also along Cooper Road is the Wilder-Swaim House, a Montgomery landmark, and the Swaim Lodge. The Swaim Lodge functions much like Dulle Park's Terwilliger Lodge, but it is best for smaller functions. It too, is right near the park's other features, so its guests aren't limited to the indoor facility.I feel that Swaim Park is the best choice in Montgomery for larger summer family outings, especially with younger kids, but it is always great for a game of basketball or tennis match for the older ones. The scenic pond and grassy hills really seem to make it what it is though.
