Super Wok

Absolutely amazing food that is also affordable. If you are ordering over the phone, just expect that the call may be quick and concise. But they will have your order exactly as you asked for it every time. One of the best deals around Germantown, HIGHLY recommend.

Super wok is our go to Chinese restaurant! It's the only one in Germantown and is super close to our house.When we call to place an order, they answer on the first ring and we are off the phone no more than a minute later. They always tell us 20 minutes but we have shown up in 10 and our food has always been ready.The portion sizes are insane! We usually order from them when we know we don't want to cook for the next couple of days. And it had always been delicious. We have never eaten there but the lobby is always clean and tidy.

I dont think I have ever disliked Chinese food before but this was not good to me. I am not sure if it was because I am from California and used to different or not. They do have other good reviews so that is what prompted our visit.We ordered the combination fried rice, boneless spare ribs and Mongolian beef which was more like beef with vegetables. We asked for fried dumplings and they gave us steamed. Of course we didn't know that until we got home.

This place is incredibly solid. Have been going for years and Super Wok consistently serves high quality food. My go to order is the orange chicken or sweet and sour chicken. The portions are large and the food has great flavor. Service is great and the people are very friendly. Would highly recommend. This establishment reminds me of Damian Lillard. Consistent production and not flashy.

Tried this place pre-pandemic and was just "so-so". In a pinch, OK.Its literally right down the street and friends claimed they had improved once re-opened.... Yeah, NO.Spaghetti noodles from the grocery store next door are NOT Lo Mein. Drowning cheap spaghetti in watered down sauce is not considered "Good, Healthy, Delicious Chinese Food". Contrary to what their take-out menu claims 3 Times. (That should've been a red flag).My Advice, Just avoid the disappointment, their fundamentals are just too far gone to be a chance mishap.

The food here is one of the higher quality takeouts despite the scenery. I love their entrees since you can see them cook. Also, the service is considerably nice since it's a family-run restaurant. Recently, you can even order online via their website or QR code. They don't have delivery services yet, but it's worth it going over there.

I've been waiting anxiously for Super Wok to reopen while the staff was visiting family in China for a month or so.I stopped by yesterday evening, after having placed my order online. I got a House Special Lo Mein, a Chicken Chow Mein, and some Egg Rolls.Only the lo mein was tasty.The egg rolls were very bland, filled with only shredded cabbage. No pork, no carrot, no mushroom, no onion. BLAND.The chicken chow mein was also very bland, with very little flavor. As you can see from the picture, the dish seemed to be chicken, celery, onion, and bok choy. No carrots, no celery, no green onions, no garlic, no ginger, no noodles. Corn starch thickened pale sauce. BLAND flavor & even BLANDER appearance.The house special lo mein was very good. Excellent flavor.All in all, I was very disappointed.

I feel bad writing a negative review because we've order from here many times and been satisfied every time! But today my house low mein has some really suspicious and concerning pieces of beef it in.. it made me feel queasy and I can't bring myself to finish the rest or my meal or to ever order from this place again. I just can't believe this. If anyone can explain this.. please do!

So I've lived here for a long time and I've never tried this and can't say much about the rest of the food but the orange chicken is very good. I wish they gave a little bit more like panda express does but overall very good.

This is our only "neighborhood" Chinese food option, and they are very good, quick, plentiful and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that their egg roll filling now consists solely of cabbage. I would rather the price be a little more than get a wanton filled with cabbage... No more egg rolls for us!!
